First light Sorc -Questions..enlighten me:)

Hey yall!!


i'm building a lightning only sorceress. I have 95% of items I'm going to use;
Shako,(23)Maras,Coh(bp), eschuta (20%light)(no facet;yet),lidless,Arach,2 sojs,

for glove..megafist?
boots?..treks?

Then I have been lucky enough to trade 7 light grand charms, and a 16/17 torch. ..also have a circlet (+3 lightning).

Questions, what skills to max? chainlightning, lightning, lightning mastery?..perhaphs..nova?

with this stuff, i'm wondering,what damage to expect?
someone told me around 30K, is that right?
..And...im only 24 now, bout to be Chaosed; should i wait til 75, and that way torch will give me stats and other items..and save those maybe 30 stat pooints,and use it for energy?or vitality?..or be impatient bastard...well i guess,now,as i type this, its a retoricale question...haha..
 
Skills to max are CB, Light, CL, Light Mast, anything you have left into Nova. With all that gear, 30k Light Dmg is well within reach.
 
First off I would have to say ditch the Lidless and go with Spirit....Here Is my setup on my light sorc:

Shako (light facet)
Rare Ammy (+2light cast res)
COH
HOTO
Spirit
Magefists (answers your other question)
Treks (answers your other question ~however if u want more mf then go with travs~)
Raven/Rare Ring (cast and res)
Arachnid
STorch
Only 1 Light GC (still looking!)

This has been one of, if not, my favorite character yet!

Max Light Mastery, Lightning, Chain Lightening, Charged Bolt, Remainder goes in Nova......1 in these :static, telek, telep, es, tstorm, and cold armor.

Not sure my max dam atm but I believe its closing in on 30k Lightning.

***I would highly recommend getting Holy Freeze merc with infinity :thumbsup:

-Hey i don't see the use of Tstorm(= thunderstorm?)..why bother?..i can see why the others..but this..esp. if im going nova..,im not relly going to duel;if thats why u suggested
 
You can't have coh in a bp.

Non ES Light Sorc, I did 49K without +3 Lightning Helm.

I suggest you go ES, with Shako. Search up for Light sorc guides, in sticky.

1pt and its doing a little under 2k dam....... I don't PvP that much with her but when I do its great to tele around others while the bolts hit person on the screen.

And yes TStorm=Thunderstorm!!! :jig: :jig: :jig:

This is my current set-up for my light sorc. I'm a 200 fcr, 86 fhr

Helm - 25/19 Griffs
Armour - Upp'd Vipermag
Ammy - +2 light, 20% fcr (crafted)
Shield - 35 fcr monarch
Weapon - 39 Hoto
Rings - 1 x SOJ, 1 x 10 fcr/20 str
Belt - arachs
Glooves - magefists
Boots - treks

9 light gc's, wish I had one with FHR
18/20 torch
18/10 :/ anni
small charms to make up for life and FHR

I have maxed sparks, nova, lightning, chain lightning, and lightning mastery. My damage is a little over 40k. With a Shako, and COH instead of what I have I would also reccomend you get a spirit and 10 fcr ring in order to hit the 117 break point. If you get those with a torch, anni, 9 light gc's and the rest of your equipment you will easily be about 45k dmg.

ill keeep you guys' comments in mind, ill definetly get a Spirit..i don't know about that 2nd ring being a fcr over soj...will keep in stash or something:P

well this is awsome..it's going easier then i thought would.. in half to one hour, i gone to lvl58..and started maxing those skills u all suggested, started with lightmastery,..and 'up'..literally, on the screen..so chargebolt and cl,is still in need of skills..but with my gc's/helm..all stats saved..shes slvl 30 already,and naked(except the helm)..im at 4k..roughly...only if i had more time to play..thas ok, tonight i'll get 75 easily:PP
