Fanaticism Vs Wf

Originally, I started my bowazon planning on getting using Wf, and equipping my Merc w/ Faith b/c I heard Wf's damage>Faith's. But I was wondering how much the Aura will increase my damage if I used Faith. Actually, The question I have first is if I equip my Merc w/ Faith will I receive the full 237%+ Dam or will I only receive the party amount of dam increase at 118% damage. And if I only receive party +%Damage than would WF's Max Damage compensate for the the +%dam loss I receive for using Wf.

Soo in other words, Which is greater WF w/ Merc Faith, Or Equipping Faith Myself?

(this is out of context....and not really considering it, but out of curiousity what are the stats on an upped Buriza)

i would use windforce and give merc the faith. even though you dont get the full damage increase, only party damage, itll still be more than full faith grand matron bow.

If you can afford I'd go with GMB Faith, Fort and Act2 might merc with Pride. You'll always have Fanat aura on yourself plus you get all those xcellent mods that Faith provides (ITD, res, summon skeletons,...).

Although WF+Fort+merc Faith can provide more dmg if you invest a lot into dex and you are high lvl, you'll lose 1 tank and you'll be losing Fanat aura a lot due to A1 merc stupidity (tried that with my Brand-based bowzon with A1 Fanat merc as support - annoying).

You will only receive the party damage bonus from fanat if your merc equips it

Zepplin - I started the same thing when the new runewords came out, and finally have been able to trade for them.

I actually end up using Faith +3 GMB on my strafazon and Faith CB on my rogue merc the most. She wears Mavs helm with jewel for 45 IAS, LOH for 20, Fort Dusk, Highlords for 20, WarT/Gores, Nofs belt, 2 ravens, and she rocks on the pits. The lack of a might merc is OK, as by the end of a pit run, she has 15-20 little skeletons following her. I switch to WF for more dmg to kill Baal.

I also have the Might/Pride merc and WF combo on my older strafazon, but don't use her as much any more...

I've also played with Ice, Wrath, Brand, and other bows, and like the above the best.

if your merc is using faith, how much ias do you need to hit 8/2 with a 10 speed bow?

well u could use enigma to control mercs but u lose forts 300ed bonus which isn't a problem and if u don't want the a2 merc to die from iron maiden make pride in a weaksauce norm poleaxe
