facet questions

I have some questions about facets. Does poison facets stack?. Also if i have a 4 socketed moanrch and i put in 1 psn die, 1 cold die, 1 lightnign die, 1 fire die, when i die do they all come out? Do the novas or elemental attacks that come out get the +%dmg?. Thanks for the help!

As a follow up I would ask 'what monsters could survive my merc dying if he was equipped in that way?

pretty much any monster in hell. I did it on a merc in single player, 4 facets in a gothic plate. I let him get killed out in the blood moore by a pack of champ zombies, he took off a bit of their life but he diden't kill them.

I always thought it would be a cool PvP tatik though .. at least a little surprising to the person that kills your merc.

The only thing I wonder is if the -xx% to enemy resistance on the jewel works on the 'on death' effect .. since you're character is technically dead when it goes off. If it does work, then would mastries work as well. say the -5% enemy cold resistance on a cold facet combined with a sorc's -150% enemy cold resistance of her mastery .. there there would be potential for a bit of damage. it's just that an unsynergized blizzard with no cold mastery dosen't hurt very much.
 
What if u have more of the same kind? etc an act3 merc with
17 * 100% Chance To Cast Level 37 Blizzard When You Die

I think that would hurt

only the %chance stacks. Meaning if you socket 2 cold facets in a single item you'll get:

+10/-10 cold skill/enemy resistance
200% chance to cast lvl 37 blizzard when you die.

wait how the hell can u have a 200% cast does that mean it casts twice?
to me I interpret anything over 100% to cast at least once and chance of casting twice someone explain plzzzzzzzzzz. ty

by the way the guy above me is that homer simpson's face?

That's a wrong assumption. A chance at or over 100% means it will always happen once. But not more than once.

ive had many people tell me that the spells like if you use all cold die faucets stack which means their cast more than once right?
 
Even if you would socket one cold die facet in your helm and one in your armor, only one Blizzard is cast. Same for the other die facets. Two different ones (poison and cold for example) you would see one Poison Nova and one Blizzard.

The dmg will always be too little to kill.
 
So those people who yell and call you nub because u didn't put 4 5/5 die facets, and only 1 die and 3 level are wrong. :uhhuh: Funny thing is that all the people who call you nub for not having 20/20 4 die are trap sins using the 20/20 die. We all know about traps and facets right? :drool:
