(EuScL) No T-Keys & Ladder Reset

Hi all,

I have 2 questions and hopefully someone here can shed some light on 'm.

1. I've been doing many countess runs in the hopes of finding a nice rune. I guess I've done about +100 runs. It surprised me that I did not find a single Terror-Key in the process. Is this sheer unluck or is there "something" that needs to be done before she drops them?

2. Was just wondering about the reset, how long it generally takes for Hr are being sold on Bnet...after 1 day/1 week? Also, how are prices after the reset for Hr (1 hr = ... ists, 1 ist = ... pul)?

Ima take a swing at number one and guess you wern't doing the runs in hell?

Edit for interests sake i seem to remember that the odds on finding a key are about 1/6 for terror (i'm not sure where i remmeber that from and if i'm wrong someone correct me.)

This means that the odds on not finding a key in a given run are 5/6

This puts the odds of not finding a key in 100 runs at (5/6)^100 = 1.207x10^(-8) or 0.000000001207

Edit for 1/12 odds

(11/12)^100 = 0.000166

Final Edit for 1/14 odds

(13/14)^100 = 0.000605

1. They should always drop in hell. So it's probably just bad luck or Bod trader is correct.

2. Impossible to say. It's going to be a large reset and a new patch. So any information about previous ladder resets will hopefully be irrelevant.

I think T-key is about 1 in 12 on average, but as they said, keys only drop in Hell

As for the prices, previous ladders have revolved around HR duping, so this upcoming reset will depend on whether or not they can fix the HR-duping loopholes. If they eliminate duping entirely, expect HRs to trade at or near their true rarity, i.e. Vex~4 ist, etc. The only reason HRs get so cheap towards the end of a ladder is because they're duped and devalued.

Regardless, I doubt that HR=Ist within just a week. New runewords may change the relative value of certain runes, as well...

Thanks for the reactions guys.

I did idd do these runs in Hell. In the past with another higher lvl (93) char than my current char (lvl 82) the countess was more than willing to drop 'm. So I figured maybe I am not meeting a lvl req or something. I'll just keep trying the odds!

Also thanks for the info on the reset, it seems that with the new patch values are difficult to predict...

From the experience of last ladder reset, HRs were ~10 Ists at the very beginning. After 1-2 months of ladder i remember buying my first enigma for 12 Ists.

For the terror key, isn't it actually 1:14? (at least that's what ATMA says)
