EIAS and Fanaticism

Hello, I'm busy building myself a good Warrior Monk, and I've got a question regarding fpa speed.

I plan on using a Beast (still deciding which type of weapon) but I'm unsure about it's inherent Fanaticism bonus.

The Kicking Ias tables tell me that BoS related IAS counts as EIAS. But I was wondering if this counts to all forms of skill-related IAS bonusses, in this case being the 29% IAS bonus Beast's lvl 9 Fanaticism aura gives me.
This would make it possible to hit the 8/3 breakpoint without any other sources of IAS, in a Berserker Axe. This would otherwise be the 9/3 breakpoint (save 2 points of EIAS, but it's just for comparison).

Anybody have an idea before i waste my BladeFury damage on a Phase Blade, or a Scourge?

Beast can't go in phase blades... so that really would be a waste!

Anyway, Burst of Speed and Fanat are the only two sources of skill-based EIAS. So, you'd be at 8/3 with the BA. IIRC it only takes one more IAS jewel to hit the fastest speed overall.

Or just a beast warspike instead of BA to hit 7/3 without needing extra ias >.>

But thanks for clearing that up. I was a bit unsure myself about the EIAS thing, and it really does make a difference for me.

I can't really afford a 15/15 res/ias jewel (not after all the other gear) so I was trying to get the 8/3 Breakpoint without any other sources of IAS. This is excellent news :smiley:
