Dual Azure Viable for Frenzy Barb?

Hi, I have a lvl77 frenzy barb atm... Been thinking of his end game weapon.. Somehow, I have never used azurewrath before in my entire D2 life! So I was thinking of giving him 2 of those. Reasons for choosing:

- fast attack speed
- good elemental dmg (against PIs)
- A tiny bit of attributes
- the COOL factor :lol:

Are these good enough reasons for me to choose it? If yes, is it viable? If not, any other suggestions? axes? maces? (I have not choosen my mastery yet)

I've solo'd hell baal's minions, as well as baal himself in a 6 player game using 2 azure's. It's most definitly viable.

Btw, wat was ur gear like? Thinking of getting a STONE for him.. I think he will benefit from the 60%fhr and the ED which is superior than those in Duress... Makes sense? :scratch: I have a Valor as well though... Having mixed feeling.. Cos my barb is just not cutting it in hell now...

Well ! My lvl 86 frenzy barb is doing fine in baalruns.

Heres his gear:

Arreats
Shaft
String of ears
Lightsabre
Azurewrath
Gorerider
Highlords
Raven Frost
Rare ml + res ring.

I chose the Shaft just to get some DR somwhere and because high defense really isnt that usefull on a frenzy barb because youll be running ALOT.

So 2*Azurewrath will definatly(sp?) be viable.

Ahh.. true that we'll be running everywhere... But is it possible to switch to walk once u r "frenzied" .. I believe u will still be moving ard fast, but does it count as walking? Does walking bring ur Def to zero?

Arreat's Face - Slayer Guard
Chains of Honor - Diamond Mail
Azurewrath - Phase Blade
Azurewrath - Phase Blade
Dracul's Grasp - Vampirebone Gloves
Gore Rider - War Boots
Metalgrid - Amulet
Nature's Peace - Ring
Raven Frost - Ring
Verdungo's Hearty Cord - Mithril Coil

2 x echoing war swords on switch.
demon limb in stash.

Merc: Act 2 Might Merc.

Delirium - Bone Visage
Doom - Cryptic Axe (perfect ED% 370)
Ethereal Stone - Dusk Shroud

Teleport Setup:
Enigma - Archon Plate
2 x Wizardspikes (weapon switch.)
Rare Ring - 10%fcr/4%life leach/3%mana leach/+8x to AR.

I don't have exact damage numbers right now, because I'm at work. the max is something like 18xx or something like that.. my frenzy speed is the fastest it can be, it's unbelievable.. I've had 2 guys so far online that decided to make a frenzy barb after they seen me tearing up the Chaos sant. and the Worldstone keep in hell and and having about as hard of a time as I would in act 1 normal.. ..

I used lightsaber's up to level 85 when I could use the azure's .. don't get discouraged .. things can be a little tough with the LS.. you won't be killing too fast .. and things are a little tough .. but you can almost hear the angels sing when you turn 85 .. once you equipt the azure's your killing power skyrockets!!!
