Druid pet calculator

I've been playing around with the following druid pet calculator: http://tph.tuwien.ac.at/~gottwald/druid_pet_calculator.html

But I'm wondering how the added effect of the aura's are calculated, because when I calculate it my self I end up with much higher damage.

For instance if I insert lvl 1 spirit wolf, lvl 20 dire wolf and lvl 20 grizzly, the base damage of the dire wolf is 217 - 233.
If I put the might aura on lvl 20 (+230% ED) the calculator tells me the damage will be 376 - 403, but if I calculate this myself I get a much higher amount of damage.

So is there special way of calculating the damage I don't know of?

Re: Druid pet calculator

Yes, I know but still the damage is different. If you would take my example the calculator mentions 376 - 403. If I ad the 230% ED myself I calculate: min 217 + 217*2,30=716,1 and max 233 + 233*2,30=768,9.
Or am I really missing something?

Re: Druid pet calculator

Do way you are doing it is multiplicative.

A level 20 Grizzly gives +215% ED (15% + slvl*10%).

Base damage of level 20 Dire wolves is 69-74.

69*(1+ 2.15+2.30) = 376 min
74*(1+ 2.15+2.30) = 403 max

Re: Druid pet calculator

Now I see. I thought the damage after the bonus from Grizzly was used for the aura's. Now I know how it works, thanks mate!
