Dragon Enchantress

Has anyone tried the dragon armour with an enchantress?

wouldnt that do heaps of damage, much like the dream runeword?

would luv to hear everyones feedback!

it would add a hideous amount of fire damage, although your damage will be lower than with the dream helm+shield combo as their auras stack :D

So?

Then why not do all 3? Dream Helm, Dream Shield, Dragon Armour? Expensive, and you'll need major resists elsewhere (charms) but your damage would be INSANE.

The fire damage is not that large with dragon.

If you wear HoJ and 2 dragon runewords you have a slvl 44 holy fire thats Fire Damage: 555-567 to your attack

now that amount gets multiplied by your firemastery squared.

With 10 skill charms, 3 from the amulet 3 from your helm 4 from rings, belt, gloves. Thats 20 to skills so a slvl 40 fire mastery. or 303%

555*(1+3.03)*(1+3.03) = 9013
567*(1+3.03)*(1+3.03) = 9208

But then your using all fire skills at the very maximum. 9013-9208 compared to 24-68000 (average 30k) there is no real comparision.

You will get much much more from dream helm. The extra from elemental sources can take your damage as high using facets in the place of runewords.

Required Level: 49
100% Chance To Cast Level 29 Blaze When You Level-Up
Adds 17-45 Fire Damage
+3-5% To Fire Skill Damage (varies)
-(3-5)% To Enemy Fire Resistance (varies)
(Only Spawns In Patch 1.10 or later)

And you have 6,4,3,3 so 16 spots you can fill. thats 270-720 fire damage added to your melee damage, and an additional 3*16-5*16 more percentage. or 48-80% more fire damage let alone the increase from the minus resistance.

720*(1+3.03+.80)= 3477 damage added before the minus resistances is added in, also the 80% will get added to your enchant damage (that may be added twice I am not completely sure on that though). So overall you would be as likely to get the amount of damage just by adding facets.

IMHO if you are going to use the Dream combo you are going to want to max enchant anyway to get the AR, so why not take advantage of that? You only need the 20 points in LM to utilize the Dream setup, so put the rest of your points in enchant, warmth and FM, slap on the Dragon, and there you have added another 10,000 to your average damage, and you can deal with lightning immunes much better (and remember: PvP you will often come up against lightning immune players). I don't see any problems here.

I guess without stacking the Dragon it would only be ~6000 extra damage, but I wouldn't say no to that.

This build sounds like fun!
What about using a dragon shield and armor + Hand of Justice?
Or 2 dreams a dragon and a hand of justice? The last setup gives you 2 lvl 30 aura's right?

In single player I tried modding the equipment but with 2 dream or dragon runewords multiple auras of the same element wouldnt stack...
Should that be right and did I just misinterpreted?

Actually if your using the dream combo you forfeit the 10 fire skillers for lightning skills so you have to drop +10 from your fire mastery. and you will switch to +all skills rather than +3 fire skills for an amulet thats another +1 fire, so +11 skill are gone from fire mastery thats a huge drop in damage as fire mastery is squared.

Your talking more like 2000 with Dragon and HoJ on your dream setup. you can do far better by wearing a faceted setup adding to your lighting and fire damage, also maybe adding something extremely fast for hitting more often, a zealing sorc with 24-68000+ would be much better than a normal hits sorc with 2024-70000. the extra hits will be huge, I would use the dream setup and make the sorc hit extremely fast with my weapon choice.

Hitting 5-6 hits in the same amount of time as the dual auras hit 4 times, the more hits will win everytime.

Nevermind my last response, oh wait you just did. :D
When modding some things are very different with runewords, Grief doesnt work as it should as well.
