Do you imbue?

I always get the Malus but I usually wait with the imbues until I'm somewhere around clvl 75 or above. Usually I imbue Tiaras and Diadems in try for a good combination of mods, namely +skills, +life, resist all and faster cast rate. Sometimes I'll imbue an elite weapon if my character is in need of some nice damage, and hope for lots of damage, IAS and dual leech.

Almost same here. I always do the quest, but haven't used the "reward" lately (quit few saved). I alway got rubbish before, so I completely lost interest for imbue.

Imbue is just a chance of free gamble, IMO, nothing special. Blizzard should really do something to make it a real reward, eg. fixed mod upon certain level, and remove rubbish mod from it.
 
Just thinking a little more about this, I realise that in a lot of cases, I wait until I get a suitably high level and a suitable item. As I only play hardcore, there is an option that is missing from the poll, namely :-

I imbue at high levels with a suitable item, but manage to get my char killed before both happen.

Know what I mean ?

The only really good stuff I've gotten from imbues have been bnet side.
Recently(ish), I got a +2 sorc +30 str 20/20/20/39 res -50% poison duration circlet. I gave it to a friend.

Rarely, unless going untwinked with a char that needs a specific item type. Then I might give it a shot. I've also imbued some circlets.

I get the same poll options. What's that supposed to mean?

I occasionally go back and imbue circlets etc. More often than not I just forget about it as uniques are better and pindle drops tons of rares anyways. The only advantage of the imbue quest is that you can pick the item. Its more effective than gambling for elite rares anyways.

Shh, keep it low key. See if we can get anyone else to post their imbuing preferences and make a fool of themselves :)

The one and only char who can do fast mf and keyruns. smoke, spirit, lore.IMHO there is no other option for a starter char.

All I imbue are necro heads and circlets. Even then, I wait until my character is like, mid 80's or higher to do it. I used it all the time in classic though, found some nice res boots back in the day with it.

I will go the way of the Druid, a windy, I just like the looks. I also will start a WC Barb and play with all my fellow ladder players. :banghead
