My Knight managed to make it to Level 12, and as low as dungeon level 28 (!) thanks to a trapdoor that dropped me 4 levels (from the dungeon into a maze), until he met his end due to an angry Minotaur, which took away 60-odd HP in one turn.
He got Excalibur through the sword dipping trick, and even managed to get a wish from a fountain (which I used to get a gray dragon scale mail). Didn't have much luck with anything else: couldn't even find a remove curse scroll to get rid of a -3 shiled, and couldn't find an aligned altar or even the entrance to the Dwarven Mines!

It seems to be the most complex game ever written, hands down. I think I will try it out. The problem is, I fear that I might get even more addicted than what I am with D2...
And I have too many active tourney characters to be tempted to join in this one.
Thanks anyway for bringing it up, Flamearrows!
Never give up! Never surrender! ^_^ You could have tried praying for help, or going upstairs until you found a sink (levitate over one sometime, you'll see what I mean...), or let a nymph or succubus/incubus remove the boots. At the very worst you could have floated your way out of the dungeon, going up from dungeon level 1, which would have improved your score.lemon said:Oh.. ok these must be boots of levitation . Tried removing them , but i couldn't they were cursed. So i tried all scrolls i had , almost got myself killed, but didn't found scroll of remove curse . So i had to quit
Yes, yes, and yes. Leveling up and increasing your martial arts skill will help you do more bare-handed damage. Gauntlets of power, rings of increase damage, and kicking boots (for kicks, natch) can boost your attack power as well. If you're not wearing gloves, even wearing a silver ring when you punch a silver-hating creature like a werewolf or vampire will help. The DevTeam Thinks of Everything!P.s Does monk's damage increase within it's lvl and martial art's? Or i can put on some things that increase damage ? Thanks

you die...

OK, so you don't die, you survived that attempt on your life
so i had loads of funning commiting suicide in my self dug pit over and over and over again![]()
I haven't looked at a guide or played explore mode for quite some time, but that sounds about right.lemon said:I read the guidebook, and if i understood it good (i am bad at enlish) if you enable explore mode , you don't get your score, and it can't be turned off ?
