D2 skill calculator ?

D2 skill calculator ?

I just returned to D2 (quit playing before 1.10, so lke 4 years ago ? :O )

Anyways, always prefered building my own builds instead of looking at guides, but with all this synergy stuff it gets a tad complicated.
Does anyone know of a skill calculator where i can input desired level, and then start placing skillpoints to see what skills i can afford, and what damage they would do etc ?
Tried looking on this site, googling, and checking the official boards to no avail

there are none that we can give a direct link to...i suggest googling "diablo skill calculator"
make sure your antivirus software is up to date before visiting any sites.

I honestly fail to see how this can even remotely fall into the category "cheating"

But i guess Blizzard condones cheating then...

it doesn't....we can't provide a link because every skill calculator i know of is on a "competing site" ....in times past there was one here but i don't know what happened to it...probably was just never updated.

Some mods on some forums allow the German site to be linked. In particular, the necro forum (and I believe the druid as well) might have some threads with it linked, or even in the stickies. Just go on that site, and search around it.

you can link to the german calculator....elly has given a :thumbsup: on it....does it have a skill calculator? i know they have a weapons damage calc.

you can also use hero editor and test on open bnet
just google it and the first 2-3 finds are the ones that have it

The only reason I haven't added the german site calculators to the stickies is because we're working on a brand new links thread. Our current one is outdated, messy and some of the links are fubared.

You can link to any of the calculators featured on that site - some have english versions, some don't. I haven't had an opportunity to toy with all of them yet so I can't guarantee that they are all as good as the famous weapon speed calculator.

downloading editors are always risky...you take a chance that there is a keylogger or worse attached to them....there is a thread a few under this one called "both accounts hacked!"....guess what he downloaded?

The change is relatively recent - Elly decided to allow it only a few weeks ago due to our current lack of calculators. This is a very rare exception to our rule concerning links to other d2 fansites.
