Lots of posts, I will put out my claim before I get to them.

I was Dr. Frank yesterday, I asked several questions about the role and got these answers:

Removing Last laugh from Mal while he is dead causes him to be out of the game
Removing Last laugh from Mal while he is dead will not cause his alignment to be revealed
The role from the live character is "stored" in Mal, and can be switched back in if Mal is targeted at a later date
It is possible to bring back the reflector with this power (reflector does not trigger when dead)

I targeted Moar and Mal. Assuming Moar was not driven, we should have the politician out of the game.

In other news, I received the Sun last night, and see no reason why I should not use it today. I will wait about 24 hours in case people feel otherwise, but at that point I will submit the order to remove the night phase.

How on earth do you consider the role removed kestegs?

Ladies and gentlemen, your mafia: Sathoris, kestegs, Solar Ice and a 4th I can't quite figure out yet.

And yes, I'll be wasting my vote on Sathoris. The fact that he was the kings wasn't available when I made Moar vote for him, or sent the PM. Gogo lynch me fast then, I'll enjoy watching a town this blind to the obvious fall apart in two or three days.

There are 2 ways I saw it working out:

1. I give it to a townie (I picked someone I thought to be townie) and they use it, giving us a guaranteed no kill night.

2. I give it to a mafioso they then have to either use it and miss the next night or not use it and look very suspicious for not using it.

All outcomes I could come up with were a win for the town.

I like the above reasoning, very solid.

I'm not sure how much you were paying attention, but you certainly were hot and heavy with the kestegs/Sathoris thingy.

It's hard to swallow you forgot to unvote your prime suspect.....

The one-shot would have killed whomever tried killing me.

That is my understanding as well, unless its reflected back onto a NK immune person, but the only role that has the possbility of that is the spammer. This starts the first of a couple questions to Goryani regarding the roles if he will enlighten me.

Goryani: If the highest post count individual is lynched at the end of the day does that player having more posts than the spammer count towards the spammer not getting NK immunity? I.E. Mal was the highest poster, but he was lynched. Sath was the 2nd highest poster and the spammer, would he be granted NK immunity since he was then the highest post count player alive at day end?

Nope, the mafia target could have been joe black. If who was Joe black last night doesnt drop dead, then we know your block was what stopped the kill.

Hard to say. And I see no real way to confirm whether he is or not. Well there is a way by us all claiming our current roles, but I don't think that's worth it by any stretch.


I'd like to hear from ankeli and see what he has to say for himself before I make any judgments.

The role specifically states that the role would not rotate if the effect was triggered. Even if solar is lying about not having the Joe black role anymore he would die at the end of the day. It works itself out.

The other option is that Bad Ash redirected the kill onto Sathoris.

Unless I am missing something, this won't work since Malevolent had the most posts, hence the Spammer is not triggered and a kill would still occur. Mal is still top of the count, due to his Green Eggs and Spam.

This plays into my question to Goryani, hopefully he will answer it.

Caluin Graye, your timeline post #243 seemed very well thought out. How do you feel about it now?

And Pyro, your choice of the reflector also seems practically perfect in every way.

Because I believe Gwaihir already asked Goryani what would happen if the Mime mimicked the kingmaker. The real kingmakers choice would supersede mine, therefore it would have no effect. Only if the kingmaker didn't send in a choice would my choice take precedence.

So Ankeli, who did you try to detect cooties on?

From my understanding the role gives a list of All people visited, not just one specific target.

Well that's interesting. I don't get a scum vibe from Solar Ice. However, I'm curious how you can be so sure your previous role can still be in the game. I'm sincerely not picking on you so please don't take it in a mean spirit. They are many ways things can't possibly add up, and I also have more questions than answers. Actually I'm not sure I have any answers...

Hm, this is another good question for how the roles function.

Goryani: Since the Dr. Frankenstein role targets roles, not people, would it be affected by bus driver choices. Second part, I'm assuming that the roles that are switched during the night do not affect the roles that people have that night, is that a correct assumption?

So Pyro why not choose kingmaker? Seems like a powerful role to mime, though your logic seemed reasonable enough.

I came in after work, saw we had 6 (post count was two posts above mine), needed 7 (Moar would have been 7 if it counted) for the lynch. Voted Mal.

Me, I was kingmaker, and I picked Sath, as I believed he was town, but... I see his has a couple votes on him now, so maybe I misread D1?

But that role was removed.

So either you didn't get roleblocked, and said you did, or Frankenstein got roleblocked and didn't actually revive the last laugh role.

Here is the role.

You will have the Last Laugh!

While alive, you only have a vote. Upon death, your alignment will be hidden. You die as normal but you forever remember the name of your killer (last voter if lynched).

Should your killer die, for any reason, you will come back to life and enjoy the last laugh! You will revive during the next role rotation phase. Both you and this role will participate in the random role rotation.

Tiny Print:
If you have multiple killers, any of their deaths qualify for your revival.
You won't be given access to the dead thread while in limbo.


The bolded part is what I was talking about in previous posts. Such a plan would involve making sure the kingmaker role "stayed in the family" so to speak.

I just had an itch with Moar's messed up vote and MartinLong's vote right afterward in light of today's role reveals. I could be completely paranoid, but I wanted to be clear in case there was some controversy later.

I'm assuming by this statement that you didn't target Moar as part of your bus driving then?

If that's the case... then either Gwaihir is lying, or Ankeli and Moar are part of a team and trying to manipulate the town.

I sincerely don't mean to sound cruel, but do you think Moar is so smart/devious? Or perhaps a better way of wording it would be, who do you think is the mastermind of such a plan. You think Ankeli is the leader?? I often get the impression Moar is somewhat frazzled by this game. (No offense)



Frankly I think someone like Solar Ice or Caluin Graye would be better suited.

I read Moar's posts, #292 & #294 and then her unvoting of Ankeli :scratchhead: so I can potentially see something. But I can also see someone batted around by every whim of doubt and nuance. Jumping at shadows which aren't there. Not that I'm defending her, I'm just not convinced she's the boss.

So let me get this straight: Ankeli wants Sath lynched, and forces Moar to vote for him (assuming Gwahir is lying or his attempt was thwarted). The same Moar that is by far the biggest campaigner for Saths lynch.

Question 1: why the heck bribe Moar? Illogical imo. Why not someone like ML? Or me, bad ash, flub .... Get my point?

If someone, anyone (even a deceased player) had equal to or more posts than the Spammer, then the spammer wouldn't be immune.

Dr. Frankenstein targets players. From the role PM in post #3:

Short Version: You remove a role from the game (chosen by targeting a living player - the role they hold) and replace it with the role from a deceased player (chosen by targeting a deceased player).

If someone started the night with role X, Dr. Frankenstein does not cause any changes. Dr. Frankenstein's role swapping effect occurs at the beginning of the random role rotation phase though the targets and blocked/unblocked are chosen as part of the normal resolution of night actions.

So you did not target Moar with the bus driver? Who did you target then?

Something is not adding up here, another interesting point indeed. Was the role removed or not, that is the question.

Unless I was blocked, a role should definitely be gone. I am very surprised at Moar changing her vote, so I must have been blocked or misdirected somehow.

Moar, can you confirm being forced into voting?

I have an idea for the use of Dr. Frank tomorrow as well. On D3, whoever receives the kingmaker role should claim. Dr. Frank can then target them that night to get the role out of the game.

I haven't given the people I switched yet for a reason. I will before the day is over, but I just feel like we are close to someone slipping up.

Unrelated: flubbucket, I just read through the first like 5 pages of Day 2 and realized you have not claimed a role for yesterday yet....?
