Most image editing programs will let you scale an image to fit certain dimensions. If your picture is fairly high-res it may not turn out so well though.

Now I have a personaly web page because I signed up with a new ISP, but I don't know how to upload a picture onto the site. Please share with me your wisdom, and allow me to become as you are (with an avatar, that is...).

I feel like going a little retro with my choices. From the dusty recesses of the SPF archives:

Baedric - Not sure what it depicted but it looked really cool (mysterious figure with lightning sparking everywhere).

Warkof - Hobbes to Davemetalhead's Calvin. First, Hobbes is cool, and the character seemed entirely appropriate for Warkof.

Darkness - Guts from the Berserk anime (I only discovered the source of this 'tar recently).

I also give an honourable mention to Shade's Beyblade tar, cause there's always a place for Japanese animation.

Uhh, you don't need to host your 'tar anywhere. Just go to your User CP, and select Edit Avatar, and then you can upload your pic' as long as it fits the size limit.
