CoA for zon?

I want to put a 2-ber'd CoA on my PvM lite javazon. My main question is, is it true that most of the monsters in the game DO NOT deal physical damage (and thus render this helm useless) ?

Griffons is a far better choice for a lite javazon.

Another thing, you wont ever be getting the 174 strength to use it. The highest you'll be aiming for is 156 after +str gear, for a Monarch of some sort.

My 15% griffon only gave me +600 damage, had to abandon that garbage.

Then I was thinking about a dual life/mana leech helm, but Gaze and Stealskull are both as ugly as they might be helpful. Crown of Thieves is a much better helm, for the lack of better items.

Now I have come to my final choices: CoA, Andy or CoT. What do you recommend?

With the gear, I meant. Even if I cut down on it, I can still wear the helm... dunno what that guy was talking about.

Anyway, how about my question: is the number of PHYSICAL monsters in the game enough to justify the CoA ?

even if there were...griffons is the better way to go...exactly how many points did you put into strength...it looks like way too much...list your equipment and stats...i am sure you will get some good suggestions if you ever decide rebuild.

Griffons -xx% res is what makes a difference, not the +xx%.

Lets say you do 4k light fury, against 50% res monsters thats 2k, now if you add -15% from a griffon, then the monster would only have 35% res instead, thats 4*0.75 = 3k light fury damage. You practically increased your damage by 50% with just -15% res mod from a griffon, however this damage isn't dissplayed in the LCS (lying character screen)

Now against 83% res monster (100% before infinity removed immunity for you)
without -15%: 4*0.17 = 680 dmg
with -15%: 4*0.32 = 1280

practically increased your acctual damage with over 100% for a mere -15% enemy light resist. And a good griffon will have more then -15%.

Edit: too bad you're not on europe ladder, then my advice would be to still abandon it for a COA and giving the griffon to me ...:wink2:

Shako ftw. if you're pure pvm then do not use CoA. i rather think that leech for a java is better to obtain on rings and/or gloves. but yeah either shako, griff or i've seen people very happy with delerium. of course a good circlet/tiara/diadem will beat everything, something like 2skills/20fcr(if you're teleporting)/frw/leech/res/str/sockets.

i assumed he was using enigma it'll give a ton of str.
