Character Names

You gotta be a little creative, but even then.... I have a Lightning sorceress called "StepInto" (you know, step into the light) and a summoning necro called "Mr_Friendly" because everywhere he goes he has his friends with him. For a character designed specifically to play only with two other people we used RonPhD, HermionePhD, and well, I'll let you guys guess the third name. My girlfriend has a sorceress called Apprentiss (say it outloud "The Sorceress Apprentiss".... now who's watched Fantasia?)

I was shocked something as simple as Mr_Friendly wasn't taken, but then again I guess bnet isn't a very friendly place. There are probably a million names on there incorporating pwn, but at least I have now put a friendlier face on bnet.

P.S. MrFriendly was taken though. When I find that person I'll kill him. :D

When I'm on a name-finding binge, I get a lot like EL*(Lower case)L(/lower case)TE which I just trash because I hate how they look.

The assassin who had PvP was possibly namehacked. I dunno if there even is a Namehack, but I've heard of people getting their names hacked, and I've seen some VERY elite names (God, Diablo, Me, We, Jesus)

I saw an amazon named Arrow the other day. Thought it was pretty neato =)

Oh, I've seen someone with the name Homosexuals, and if the person with that character name is in here, I'd like to get it from you if you aren't using it xD

That's almost exactly my situation atm, except it was due to my sister ><
I used to own PvP. Ended up trading it for 10hr or so, and the guy promptly lost it to a bot -_-. Sorta annoyed I let it go so cheap. Holden has it now I think, along with God / Jesus of which you listed. Bela has Diablo.

As to namehack, from what I've heard, its pretty much a script which repeatedly (like, up to 250x/min) runs a list of names, or a single name. Before moving origs, I /whois deepspace.1 thru 10. I'm sure there's others, but thats at least 1 guy I know of :l

edit2: Guess my list needs updating then:

Deluge, Faction, Hemorrhoids, Necromancy, Vitality, Lunar, Pooh, Cypher, Softcore, Nanasawa, Hayasaka, Pirogoeth (gogo MT), FTP, Ether, HellBovine, Lucca, and ~ 32 more which have prolly expired by now :(

How odd, I've just now made an amazon called Arrow (Single player), then I read your post quoted by Xenon[KoA]. Very conicidental.
 
Single Player names are stored on your computer, and not on the battle.net servers, so they can be whatever you want them to be.

kinda hard to read, some of my friends had a hard time understanding it
dunno couldn't come up with any other char names.
Don't really care for them :eek:

Yep, one of the reasons I play SP. I can't stand seeing stupid names like JOIlhdsgh.
And yep you may be a bit slow :P
