Will (the 50% fire part of) CE benefit from a Rainbow Facet Fire jewel?

Well if you CE a Minion of Destruction (with 30000 life on hell), the fire damage you do will be 15000. 5% extra fire damage en -5% to fire res of enemies will add substatial dmg...

the damage wont be that big against most of the other creatures found in d2.

Im assumeing a trang summoner would have nice fire damage from corpse explosion due to fire mastery

Yea but trangs is very good, especially if you solo baal runs and do ubers. As far as the facets, I don't see why sticking one in an AoKL would hurt. However +resist>>>>facets for a summoner anyday.

No, it does not effect the fire half. Neither does the fire mastery from trangs.

I tested this in 1.10, on single player I had a 4 facet armor, a 6 facet weapon, a 4 facet shield, and a 3 facet helm. No difference in killing speed.

I also threw 40 annis in my inventory and tested full trangs with corpse explosion. No difference (I used /players 3 to judge for both cases).
