Bloodletter?

Just found a Bloodletter from Nightmare Mephisto. Since I've never played any Barbarians and planning on making my first, I wonder if I shall keep it or sell it if I go with Whirlwind?

bloodletter is a good mid lvl weapon that will carry you through about lvl 45 or act 5 nm, then it chokes on lack of dmg.

Just as niceguy said, I put a bloodletter in my mule for start-up gear. It works well with a full Sigon set.

It drops from Hell M for me.

weapon rotations

I have a standard weapon rotation that I now use to level new chars...and bloodletter is a nice part of it.

hellforge hammer till level 9
civerb mace til level 22
hellplague lonigsword until level 30
bloodletter til level 39
butchers pupil until 52
upped butchers pupil until endgame weapon (if endgame weapon is low requirement I skip this).
endgame weapon

there are many different ways to go, but this works for me...I hear that khalims will is also an excellent starting weapon...but it requires me to do a3, and I hate doing a3.

U am currently using 2 bloodletters with my frenzy barb and he ripped through act 5 norm on p8 and is still killing on p8 in NM act 1

Yeah i was the same 2, had duel Bloodletters on my Freny Barb, he sure went for it.

I do Agree tho, good 4 mid chars, but does choke after a while.
