Blizzards New Game

HL1 was cool, wasnt that great of an experiece since I didnt "wait" for it so there was no anticipation at all (which is usually half the experience). And I was only about 11 or 12 when i first played it. It was fun but HL2 was just awesome. Watching bootlegs of the leaked version in Russia gave me chills lol.

Same i really wish i got to play the older patches of diablo when they were new - crazy ith bow and godly bugged items...ooo.
 
I wish it would be Diablo 3 but i agree with many of you thinking it will be SC2 since it has been so long. If anything i wish that blizzard would release a new patch for Diablo 2 and reset ladder so that some of us can still have some fun.
 
I got mixed feelings bout this....
I wish it would be Starcraft 2 (couse SC>All) but I hardly can believe that it could beat odler brother in any way... especialy gameplay, since they would definitly go for 3D and it could be problem, not to mention balance of races.

on D3 alternative, I think that D2 is easier to beat since all they have to do is make new engine, keep all from D2, double unique items number add few chars, add/change few skills and D3 would rock as hard as D2.

whatever they make, it will be not compleate, as all Blizzard games, and we will have to wait for datadisks to have it all.

btw to realease date, I read someplace that Blizzard release most of its games 6months after announcing it. so i think they are planing xmas 2007 as release date

Anyhoo any news is good news - I really do hope its 1 or the other though.

Even its starcraft 2 - at least reset the gosh darned ladder for us Diabloers. =P
 
Grrr - any news on WoW would leave me dissapointed.

I really hate P2P (Cause I'm a cheap bastard?)
and comone now - they just released and expansion.
 
I'm rooting for SC2. I grew up playing SC and still have faith that one day we might have an SC too.

AS for D3 that would rock too, but instead of a diablo sequal want a diablo prequal. If it was set during the Sin War it'd rock!!
 
I am aware of the placeholders. I'm also aware that starcraftghost.com and diablo.com go there.

The announcement is being made in Korea. StarCraft matches are televised in Korea, and professional players make a couple hundred grand a year over there. If the announcement wasn't being made in Korea, then I wouldn't be betting on SC2. But it is. So I am.
 
no that is not what diablo is about... i would want to play as a random hero as we did in the first and second diablo, not a named character like tyrael
 
It is posible that they announce more then 1 title for the future. keep in mind that any game anounced can be caned(starcraft ghost?). The fact that they anounce it in Korea could mean it's sc2 but if it is, it's a long way coming (They just released a new patch on SC). But again that could be just a strategy for geting as many people as they can interested in the game again.

Any way, we'll know tomorow :smiley:
 
The Blizzard president has gone on record saying that there are two unannounced projects being worked on, so I'll subscribe to hhh's theory, until it's proven wrong, I will then renounce having anything to do with it.
