I'm not big on twilight starts, but this new system with a goal is something I can really stand behind.

Don't stand behind me, I had tamale pie for dinner before coming to work.

I think twilight/day starts are basically the same, more cautious than night starts (too little can set off lynch trains). Alternatively, night starts may have some random, but I prefer them. We know enough about each other to make educated guesses on powers. And NKs, although there is some resemblance of respect so that the same 2 people aren't nk'd early, which kind of puts mafia at a disadvantage.

I used my interrogation to help ensure Noodle actually has to participate tomorrow. We won't be obligated to prosecute one of the two+ people for a 2nd lynch. My thinking was that since the roles are randomized, the best bet for taking advantage of the twilight opportunity is to get a couple people who tend to lurk through games and sort of force them to be more active ... on day 1 at least.

The problem I see is that we are probably more likely to hit a town power role than a scum power role, unless it's a super role-heavy game like the last one, but even then there's generally like 4x as many townies, so we could get spectacularly lucky like in the last game (poor Kestegs, LOL) or it could really hurt us. Hard saying without foresight I'm afraid.

Two Day (or one "daylike" depending on how one views Twilight) phases worth of discussion is always a good thing in my book. It gives Town better scope to go in direction. The group that do not like Day phases and discussion is the Mafia.
