Barbarian basics

Hi guys, is there a Barb guide anywhere for low levels who are not being rushed and take it slow? I am level 24 currently and lack the Barb's basics.

In the meantime I use D2LOD and D2 HE as a test bed for what the various abilities do, but it would be nice if there were some explanation etc.

I understand my question is meaningless if you're planning to get rushed to a high level.

Depends on which flavor you prefer: Whirlwind, Frenzy, Throwing, Concentrate, Singer - there are quite a few different playstyles. Which one you go with will determine what advice you get.

But basically you want the best weapon you can get, the highest Combat skill you pick, and then use Warcry to buff you and support you.

Thanks. I have noticed Warcries do not "catch", not like 1-2-3-4 potions does. So if I am swinging, trying to Warcry anything simply does not work, whereas if I want to take a pot it always works no matter what.

You can only use one skill at a time, correct
