I was thinking of building an auramancer (pala with many aura's). Is there a guide for this? I cant find it anywhere...

But I was more thinking of a Paladin with multiple different aura's. I will be forming a party with some friends and I have basically 2 options to choose (non-ladder):

Option 1
Skill: Conviction
Weapon: Fanaticism (beast)
Shield: Defiance (exile)
Merc: Holy Freeze

Option 2
Skill: Fanaticism
Weapon: Holy Freeze (doom)
Shield: Defiance (exile)
Merc: Prayer

What do you think will work best? Is a high level merc with prayer aura good? (never tried this)

This is gonna be my first pala so i dont know what to choose as main attack.. wich one would be most suitable for me? I was thinking of zeal, is this a good idea?

I tried this also, and this will be my first pally. I made him in single player( took 3 hrs to make all the gear) with a editor. Yes it was cool to have all of the auras. I did mine like this.

Your option:

2nd Weapon: HOJ Cryptic sword on switch
Helm: Dream-HF
Armor: Dragon-HF
Merc: Act 1 Rouge( Fire w/ HOJ Bow, Dream, and Fortitude)

I'm still testing, but he kills alot. NOW there are problems!!! LOW LOW LOW attack rating, I miss alot. The lvl 9 fanta is not pushing it(AR) high enough. I have not made Angelic ring/ammy combo so maybe that will help, or Angelic/ raven combo. I was thinking of going w/ Smite or Zeal( since sword has -10 base). I made the Beast out of a Caduceus like the one i found in the pit on ladder. It had +2 to fanta, so I thought they would stack like the holy fire. NOT!! :lol:

I wanted to make him because I was sick of the same builds pking all the time. I think it will work, but just have to test and tweak more.

No u didnt also do the same thing... u were using ladder items .
btw zhai its really hard to go just auras .

Auradin is actually called the dupadin, because it uses so many duped runes that the character is basically a rune dupe paladin.

They are not really well defined since they are uncommon and since they can be built in many different ways. dual dreams seem to be a common way they are used now, but also dragon/dream and conviction are used occasionally.

I just read Cyrus' Avenger guide and I cancelled the Auradin idea. I'm gonna make an Avenger!

My weapon will be Beast and maybe I will use Exile as shield. This way I will have a powerfull killer and also some nice aura's to support me or my party members. (conviction, fanaticism, defiance, holy freeze).

One thing I don't know yet is if I should use Guardian Angel or not?! Is the increase in max resists really worth it? Or should I go for Enigma or any other good armor? What would you guys suggest??
