Assa kicker/trapper?
I currently have an assa kicker/trapper lvl 77 in act 4 hell. I am using semi-cheap items and the standard kicker/trapper build as follows:
t-gods
stormshield (p diamond)
upped gore riders
a spirit long sword
raven frost
15 res all ring (need the res)
a 3 trap + 88 life amu
blackhorns face (haven't found guillame's face yet)
draculs grasp (dunno if I should change this maybe)
lionheart in hellforge plate (couldn't find a better armor and I need all the life it gives me).
No expensive charms, just a few sucky +life and +res charms.
Skills:
18 dragon talon after +skills
max death sentry, max lightning sentry, 1 other maxed synergy to lightning sentry.
1 in fade, mind blast, shadow master
My stats are enough str for eq and dex, base energy rest into vit.
Resists are 25/85/75/25 (trying to up the fire resist somehow), I have around 1100 life.
Her merc is a defiance merc, using a crappy rare armor, a crappy set helm and a crappy insight. My merc usually survives rather well but dies if the monsters are to tough.
My standard tactic is to walk everywhere to keep block maxed and use my defence which is at like 5-6k somewhere with defiance and I always use fade on. I lay traps in fron of me all the time to scout (thanks to insight I got mana for this). When a trap starts to shot I put down 5 light sentry and after a while a death sentry. This kills most non LI monsters.
The problem comes with the LI:s however. If they are few I can usually kick them down together with my shadow and merc. If they are many/tough however, I try with mind blast but I still have problems, dunno why really really.
I am thinking about doing the following but I dunno if it would be better:
1. Switch my merc to a holy freeze merc. I just read that holy freeze freezes even those that are cold immune. I haven't tried this howver so I would like to know if this is true or not.
2. Switch my draculs to a pair of crafted gloves with 5 CB and 20 ias.
3. Change the raven frost to something else (dunno what).
4. Equip my merc with something better (his eq kind of sucks) and change my helm to guillames. My wealth kind of limits me here though.
5. More skillpoints in dragon talon to reach 24 or start pumping venom. Alternatively, start pumping fade a bit.
6. I am thinking treachery might be better than lionheart but I feel I need the life/res/phys dam from lionheart mroe than +2 skills from treachery (remember lionheart gives me something like 150 life since it has +str/+dex/+vit and every point in vit is worth 3 life).
Are these good ideas or is there something else I lack?
P.S If anyone is playing on euhcl and has a guillames just laying on a mule máybe you could trade it with me then?
