Any use for Nats set?

Im a bit lazy :/, i didnt bother to read the stickies about nats if it even has anything about it?

Can somebody please explain the effectiveness of this set in PvM/ PvP to me?

I have a MAsin using nats set (PS/CoT/DC sin to be exactly). Although I dont play with her much anymore I do know she does very well in hell. The 14 dual leech and all res are some very nice mods, and the sockets in the armor makes it even yummier ;)

I'm actually in the process of making a Natalya's WW Assassin. Though, I am having a bit of trouble deciding what gear to use...
Keep in mind, this is PvM only.

20 Claw Mastery
20 Venom
20 Death Sentry
20 Shadow Master
1+ Weapon Block (enough to get a good CTB)
1 Fade

Natalya's Totem
Natalya's Mark
Natalya's Shadow
Natalya's Soul
Mara's Kaliedescope/Highlord's Wrath
"Chaos" Suwayyah
Trang-Oul's Claws/Bloodfists/Dracul's Grasp
Bul-Kathos' Wedding Band/Ravenfrost
Verdungo's Hearty Cord

The areas I am having problems with are FHR and Maxed Resists.

With Fade on, that should give a decent +50 resist all boost, plus some good DR when you cast it. However, even with the minimum of 10 on the helm, 50 from the set, that still leaves you just short of the 145 you need to have maxed resists in Hell.

Also, the set has no FHR or AR bonuses on it, so I am trying to figure out how to make up for that. Using Bloodfist gloves would help some and would give 40 total with Verdungo's. Angelic's could help with AR, but that would cut down on resistances even more and I would lose two skill points.

So, any suggestions for gear are welcome! :)

Some shadow claws to cast fade with might help with res, as for AR i can only think of the usual sources (angelics, ravens etc) and also demon limb (enchant) coupled with some AR charms. Oh don't forget theres the -def from CoS, keeping that at a low lvl means you can cast kill and move onto the next group without having to wait for a long timer to end.
Though i don't quite see why your worrying about AR when nats claw has ignore target def on it.....

Somebody stole my idea! :P

Current idea I'm browsing over is;

Nats Helm (Cham)
Nats Armour (Shael/Ber/Shael)
Nats Claw (Um OR Eth)
Nats Boots
Chaos Suwayyah
Trangs Gloves
Verds Belt
Angelic Ring
Angelic Ring
Angelic Amy

Charms would be 10xShadow Skillers (with Life or FHR), 1xAnni, 9scs of FHR/Res/Vita to patch up the holes.

My current thoughts on this whole idea;
- I find that with Nat's set we can get high res quite easily, allowing us to use a Cham in Nats Helm where we would normally need an Um in a Shako. This allows you to use angelics 24/7 over RF+RF+Highlords, which whilst ever-so-slightly worse against sorcs and necros due to the lack of DS, I find that the life bonus on Angelics along is enough to make me comfortable. That and the fact that I don't have to switch between every duel for melee/caster in pubs makes me very happy as I am lazy. I've always thought a true testament of a players (and their characters) skill is how many people they can beat with one setup. With gear in stash anyone can negate/absorb/stack, etc. Seeing as we ARE building a Nat sin, if we wanted to switch our gear out for optimal gear every duel, we'd end up taking Nat's set off :P. So i figure I'd just like to keep angelics on 24/7. I MAY however use one Angelics Ring and one RF 24/7 instead, if I can get enough AR to beat hammerdins that way allowing me to Shael the Helm.
- Use Shaels in gear over Um's. An Um saves you using 3xsc of res, whilst a Shael saves you from using 4xscs of fhr.
- With the setup I have I can hit 75 all res in Hell without Fade. Using BoS is so much nicer, having Fade only to stack ~66 more res when needed.
- One thing I don't like is that I have +0 all skills, meaning my WW is lvl1. This might make my dmg suffer a bit, not sure how much, but the fact that I'm also using Nat's Claw instead of Fury means my physical dmg is gonna be pretty low :(.

Angelic ammy gives +1 skills... not a lot, but at least it's something ;)

//edit: That's with 3 items, but iirc, it does count when you have 2 rings equiped.

Would mean ditching the RF though.

2 rings and amu would still count as only 2 items out of the set.

Bugger- you're right :)

Was wondering about that one already... couldn't remember my li'l bear to be wearing any other Angelic items... But he was =]

Does someone want to explain why this entire thread is answering questions without any reference to the stickies which do answer his question? Honestly, there is a thread called "Assassin Builds/Guides + Forum Rules [...]" that has a build known as "C/C Natalya's Phoenix Striker" that can be found by simply clicking on the thread and putting the word "Natalya" into the Find function (ctrl-f) in your browser and going down to the third entry.

After the simple reference, then the other comments are what follows naturally:

Nat's is horrible for kickers (no CB and low boot damage)
Nat's is horrible for trappers (very few +skills, and all the mods are melee)
I'm in the middle of making a WW sin right now (ooh, lookie at build)

Please read the 1.10 Assassin FAQ before asking general questions. Remember, God kills a kitten every time you ask an Assassin question here that's already been answered in the FAQ. So, please, think of the kittens

Anyway, just my $.02. It makes me very sad when stickies are made but not used. The guides sticky could be cleaned up a bit, but otherwise the stickies and FAQ in this forum are excellent tools that we should use at every oppourtunity, in addition to giving our own personal advice.

Nah, I think most Assassin players have toyed with the idea at one time or another. I just never got around to making it. :p
