Anti-TPTK Paladin

I'm making a hammerdin and using the sticky guide to equip based on the list given here.

It's relatively affordable, which has been great to get me started.
I just wondered whether there's a 'next step' guide or advice on how to progress the character to be even more impervious to harm if possible, with rarer gear.
