Anni Trading Guide
First thing you need to know.
ANNI TRADING CAN NEVER BE SCAMPROOF!
I'll tell you some of the ways people use to scam an anni.
1. Many act 5 walls allow a person to pick up an item that's on the other side, provided that the item is right by the wall. This only works one way, and the person on the other side cannot pick it up. Make sure you test out all the walls in anyplace when you trading anni. Test it with a pot or a scroll!
2. Watch out for palys / barbs / assns. They got vigor / increased speed / burst of speed. Watch out for anyone who seems to have over 50% faster run rate. Watch out for anyone who is fast. If you see one of them, try to trade in a place where each of you have to run only a little to get each other's items. Don't do it like in act 2 palace cuz the longer the runway, the more chance of a faster person outrunning you by twice.
3. Watch out for socketed norm items. People might sell like 6 ist sword or a 4 ist shield, and when they drop them, all it will say is superior sword [6] (if you got mh) or gemmed monarch [4] and you will not know if that item actually has the gems or runes you think it has in.
4. If the other person comes out strong about a particular place to trade, think of anything that can happen at that place. I always trade anni at act 2 palace, but watch your back, they can come from harem.
5. Never believe a word they say about their anni. Over 70% of people that got anni when trading say theirs is perfect, and like 25% of them says almost perfect. A whole lot of them are telling you a crap.
6. The inevitable. 99% impossible to stop the other guy from stealing. The infamous TOWN TELE. I myself have been scammed with all the ways of scamming from above, and I have learned. Just yesterday, I got scammed by a town teler. You won't believe this untill you see it, which was just what I did. A paly teled, in town, and took my anni and ist both. Town tele is a program that allows a person to actually teleport in town. The only thing I can tell you about this is - it sucks.
7. Never trade from out of town. The other guy can kill you while inside with his merc outside. It is very easy to get your merc outside of act1 wall but you yourself stay inside. You might think, wahahaha I can tele in! but as soon as you go out and drop your item first which will be what the other guy will ask you to, you might think what's the harm, he can't tele from inside, he will host you and his merc will kill you instantly. Also he can just hostile you, go outside of town, and kill you extrememly quick with quick ranged skill like fireball or foh. Never trade from out of town.
I hope you guys learn from this and trade anni as safe as you can, and not use this info to steal instead of doing a fair trade. I really hope you can score a anni if you haven't got one. It's just so cool!

actually, just about no one trades in asia compared to the us realms, not sure bout europe, never visited. asias like so small as far as chat goes, u have to have heaps good stuff to trade, cause only the best stuff is put up. but like i said, no one trades on asia here. its annoying :rant:
