Ok so i dunno if this is a dumb question or not but i searched and didnt find an answer. here goes

if you equip 2 angelic rings, why dont you get the set bonus for them? i mean, you are wearing 2 pieces of the set, so why not get the bonus? lame!

Because that rule doesn't apply to indentical items of any set's. You must be wearing two different pieces of the same set in order for that rule to apply.

i dunno bout that, i tried wearing both, then removing one ring and looking at my stat screen, it showed dat when i remove 1, the ar would drop a lot. when i put the 2nd one back on, it jumped up.

Probably had another piece of the Angelic set equipped and didn't know it. Did you have the Amulet equipped? You do get the bonus twice for using two rings just as long as you are wearing another piece of equipment from the set. Duplicate's don't work but you do get the extra bonus' for that particular item twice (rings only).

well ya....i meant....i had the ammy on, and 2 rings, but i got double bonus from the rings. blah my fault, i totally read the 1st post wrong.

Verified. If you wear both the ammy and a ring, you get AR bonus. You can also put on a second ring and get the same AR bonus off the second ring as the first. It's how you get chars with 30-40K AR.
