Not sure where to post this, since it's more of a general lore question, but it has to do w/ the Amazon, and there's no D3 forum, sooo...here it goes.
Heroes of the Storm introduced us to Xul, Sonya, Kharazim, Cassia, and Johanna for the Necro, Barb, Monk, Amazon, and Crusader classes respectively. Li-Ming, Valla, and Nazeebo were already in Diablo lore before their HotS appearances. Xul was later added to Diablo Immortal, Johanna later added in D3 via item names and HotS in-game lore of "it's a common Crusader name", leaving it open for her to not be the canonical Crusader (some think it is Anajinn, another common Crusader name, but appeared before D3RoS's release).
However, afaik, Sonya, Kharazim, and Cassia still appear nowhere in Diablo lore by name outside of HotS. But am I wrong? Do they appear anywhere else by name? Is it confrimed by Blizz that they are the canon heroes, or is it just heavily inferred/assumed by fans?
