Thanks for the Blood Diver screenshot, I didn't even notice that was their name in Hell, but they are certainly deceptively deadly.

Blood Diver is the subspecies that can spawn in three of the temples (Forgotten Temple in UK and in the two Causeway temples). It has nothing to do with difficulty.
The one that almost killed me in the Sewers was a boss Gloombat.
