Bloody ATMA bug, this is what the readout actually says.

If it says "+19%" and "+72%" in ATMA that's not a bug, just a more sensible (arguably, I'll admit) way of presenting the information. It adds 19% damage to demons and 72% to undead, resulting in 119% and 172% damage to each, respectively. Either way describes the bonus, but the "+19%" or "+72%" makes drastically more sense in an environment where there might be additional bonuses as compared to the "119%" or the "172%" which seem as though they create a static damage state.

I'll avoid a full-blown old man rant about ATMA being so insanely much better than what was available before it as to make ever criticizing it damn near sacrilege, but I will make that statement anyway, cause I am a crotchety old man (at least in terms of the subject involved.)

What was before atma doesn't exclude that atma is outdated in comparison to gomule.

Ah, fair, I admit I didn't notice that part. That part is certainly a bug, though the number of items from earlier patches ATMA has problems with is pretty extensive.

@Pyrotechnician: My main point is this: no reason to hate ATMA. Since you obviously prefer GoMule it makes sense that if you're using ATMA instead of GoMule it's because you have the option of using ATMA or nothing, so it makes infinitely more sense to be happy to be able to use ATMA than to rail at it for not being GoMule. As for it being outdated ... do you understand how OLD ATMA is?

Edit: So here's basically what's going on here: like I said above I'm in a crotchety old man mood right now and your comment struck me as "lol ATMA is stupid and awful" and so I'm coming back with "ATMA is the result of a ton of time and effort put out by a person who just wanted to help and you're pooping on him for no reason because his program that's over ten years old doesn't have options a program written many years later does? Have some respect ya punk kid!" I'm not really out of sorts here nor do I think you're being insulting, but my point remains: ATMA will never deserve hate because 1. It still works absolutely fine as a muling program (I still personally prefer ATMA to GoMule for matters that don't require searching or mass moving) and 2. It was made for no pay by a man just trying to help all of us. Sure if he remade it today it would be different, but if silo remade GoMule today it would probably be different, the point is: they work, they're free and we're all damn lucky to have both so griping about this little bug or that lack of feature doesn't serve much purpose.

And yes, I realize your purpose was never to insult Tenshi or even ATMA but just to say ATMA has some bugs and lacks some of GoMule's features and that can be annoying which is true. But it is curious that you're complaining about ATMA, which can do what you want but has kinks, and not about GoMule which can't do what you want it to do at all. Each program has problems (as every program does,) but for neither does that stack come anywhere remotely near matching how amazing it is to have access to them.

Anyway, that's horribly off-topic and completely meaningless and pointless of me so meh. I found a nice Restraint ring with CDR and 6% crit chance, oh wait wrong game so it doesn't count.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to have Atma for the older patches since GoMule doesn't function with old patch items, because muling with no program would be tedious and would probably completely put me off to playing 1.07 at all. But I also know at one point that someone else (other than Silo) took the time to update GoMule so that it would function with old patch items but it was never accepted as FAM (for what reason I'm not sure of). So while Gomule can't do what I want it do at all, it very well could have.

Yes, Atma was good, and it was good for its time, and the basic idea of it was probably used as a basis for the development of gomule in one way or another. So without Atma coming first, Gomule may not have existed, who knows. But still, this argument is like arguing between using a laptop from 1996, and a laptop from 2014 that both still work. Yes, they are both still available, and both still work, but I highly doubt you would choose to boot up the laptop from 1996 when you can use the one from 2014 (unless you are crotchety old man that is :p).

Long and short of it though, I'm glad that they both exist and I'm glad that someone put the work into creating both of them, but I still have a preference for one over the other.

Edit: On topic, I found a stable war scepter rack, so although I haven't found anything more than a +1 Holy Shield scepter so far, I'm going to find a good one, I know it.

I also found blade of ali baba from 1.07 council... while it has slightly lower MF than gull (35 vs 50) since it's impossible to find ist runes and MF makes such a small difference anyway, I'm going to use ali baba for the extra gold.
I gained 198 mil gold from the first ~13k council runs, and now I'll be getting 4x as much? (2x lem runes :o) for the remaining 2k runs
