Because after testing out some different gear for my AT blizz sorc, I can't go back to 63 fcr. 105 (or 117) forever!
I also learned that I cannot stand the ctc tele on Oculus. If only I had figured that out before I stuck an Ist in it...
The + skills and resists should make this sorc more fun to play, as well (had been using Ist Ist Ali Baba, which was nice, but she was slow and fragile).

HotO is useful for so many builds. When I'm tired of AT I'll finish leveling my windy druid with it.

if you aren't using CtA then your wep swap can be isted baba, and after casting blizz 1-2 times you can switch to it and spam GS/IB :D

But... CtA is much nicer

Weapon swap right now is Harmony bow to run through town with. I'm holding out for a beta CTA (already 1/3 to beta bramble).

Isted baba is on vacation in the stash, but if I go back to Pindle I'll grab it again.

Runs are so much more fun now that I'm not quite so squishy! Found messerschmidts reaver, IK hat and highlords wrath. None were grailers, but an extra highlords is always welcome.

For AT sorc use warriv to travel west immediately and then WP in Act 1 to lost city <3. Harmony could still be useful but ~150 more MF would help more I'm sure

Why best? It would have a much lower damage... :p

Higher MF with much lower running times it is not a good idea.

Griswolds have up to 450-490% ed vs undead and 40 ias on them, Should be pretty high dmg .. Someone with alot of time and ists should do a test. It was just an idea i had, it is probably a horrible idea

Regular WW Pindle barb vs dual Griswold weapon WW barb. I did quick look at comparison between them without testing Griswold barb, that I'll leave to someone else to test.

On primary switch, let's assume level 90 barb, he could have ~561 MF, and on switch ~621MF with 54% Item Find. If we assume 150 total Strength, with Grief 1.07 eth BA (average roll of +370 damage) his average weapon damage would be 467.5. On top of that goes 31% critical chance from mastery and 53% deadly strike resulting in 67.57% to do double damage per attack. 150 Strength give damage factor of 2.5, then there is total 2.9 factor from WW and mastery, and last but not least there is factor of 1.8 from Ghoulhide damage to Undead. Total damage output of such barb would be something like ~5640 damage per hit with Grief.

Magicfinding factor from 561MF is 172% chance to get Unique items. From 621MF on switch its 178%. Weighted average of that is ~174.1%, or magicfinding factor of ~2.741.

Same barb with Griswold's Redemption would have following: weapon damage let's say is 135.5 average (highest possible). On attack he would have MF of 801 (Ists in both weapons, right), and on switch that would be 621. Damage factors are the same, but with addition of 250% damage to Undead each individual weapon gives (it's counted only for a single weapon attack, not for both simultaneously). That is factor of 2.5 on top. 31% crit chance from mastery and 33% deadly strike from amulet resulting in 53.77% chance for double damage per hit. Total damage output of Griswold Redemption would be 2021 damage per hit average.

Magicfinding factor from 801 MF is 190%, and from 621 is 178%, with weighted average of 185.8% or 2.858.

From experience I know first barb can kill and hork p1 Pindle comfortably sub 20 seconds, let's say its 19.5 seconds. Including magicfinding factor of 2.741, this means he is as efficient magicfinder as character with 0MF who can kill Pindle once in 4.62 seconds.

For Griswold barb to be as efficient as this barb, he needs to kill and hork Pindle inside 20.33 seconds. With that kind of damage output, there is no way difference in running speed between compared barbs would be less than a second. If it takes first barb like 4 seconds to actually kill Pindle and minions (probably more like 2), second one would be at least 2 times slower at doing so, resulting in ~4 seconds difference at running speed. Therefore first barb with dual Griefs is way more efficient Pindle runner.

Now someone can actually test this, but from theory it's pretty clear what expectation is. Interesting question is "what if Grief + Griswold weapon?". Conclusion is similar. Barb would kill a bit faster, but still difference between Grief+Grief barb and Grief+Griswold barb would have to be ~0.5 seconds, and in reality barb would be like 60-70% slower killer resulting in at least 2 seconds difference. Grief+Grief wins on both fronts.

EDIT
Video from scrcrw. It took him between 2-3 seconds to get rid of Pindle and his gang at average. And he was well sub 19 seconds too making job for Griswolds weapons even harder cause difference between them and Griefs must be even lower then.

Damn thats convinving.
BUTBUTBUT!
on the griswold's setup you already have high mf on primary and could use harmony on secondaryThat should take a second or two off right?

That would cause you to lose 1% Item Find and 4 full fcr breakpoints. To get to Pindle, you have to do at least 4 casts, which would result in 16 frames lost, or 0.64 seconds. You could put additional fcr via ring to lose 12 frames instead of 16 after casting, or 0.5 seconds total.

Since now you hork with same switch, your magicfind factor is 2.9 with 53% hork. To compete with first mentioned barb who kills Pindle in say 19 seconds, you have to kill Pindle in 19.97 seconds. You lose at least 0.5 seconds due to worse casting frame and let's assume first barb kills Pindle at average in 2.5 seconds, Griswold barb would kill him in ~5 losing 2.5 seconds advantage in that part. So total of 3 seconds lost compared to first barb. This means harmony must buy you full 2 seconds of running through town for Gris barb to be equally efficient.

How much harmony really means? Barb has total of 70 frw from equipment and additional 40 from Inc. Speed. Harmony gives lvl 10 Vigor aura which is 36% frw. Barb 1 has movement of 14.26 y/s, and harmony barb has 16.42 y/s. It takes between 5 and 6 seconds for first barb to get to the portal, so let's assume it's 5.5 seconds. For second barb it would take 4.78 seconds. Less than a second difference. So overall Gris barb would still be less efficient runner. Naturally testing is needed about how long it would take for Gris barb to do Pindle run, all this is just theory on paper. In general, the faster Grief barb is, the less efficient candidate Gris barb is. If Grief barb is like 18 seconds runner, then Gris barb can only stare in disbelief pretty much. If Grief barb is like 22 second "slowish" runner, then Gris barb can actually compete with him.

Right now I'm levelling an untwinked pally. Few moments ago something unexpected happened: the Smith dropped a blue small crescent... on nightmare difficulty. I didn't know some elite items could drop so early in the game.

Grats! Looks like it's raining Death's Webs' today!
