6 socket ethereal act 2 mercinary weapon

Hello everyone

Just recently, I've decided to make myself an ethereal BOTD for my mercenary in act. I just want to know, what kind of weapon should I get so that I can get a strong and powerful weapon after I put in all the runes. I've already wasted all 3 of my socket quest on trying to get a 6 sockets polearm and spear. I had an eth Ogre Axe, which only gave me 3 sockets, and an eth Mancatcher which only gave me five sockets. So, if any of you guys know a strong weapon that is good for Mercenary act 2, please tell me about it( as long as it can give 6 sockets). I am currently using DOOM for my merc with damage of 200-1000. But I am using Tals mask at the same time, and I actually have a 800 defense etherial dream helm for him. So, since BOTD gives my guy Life Leech, I don't have to use the Tals mask anymore. So if anybody know any good weapon that can give me 6 socket, please post it here. Thanks everyone... :badteeth:

Well it really boils down to what class character for choice of merc weapon ^^ For my summon necro, i slap on an ethereal Infinity in CV because

1) It's conviction aura increases the fire damage component of my corpse explosion and elemental damage of my skeleton mages/elemental revives

2) -%Defense from conviction also makes my skeletons, crushing blow iron golem and melee revives hit almost everytime

3) That crushing blow on the pole makes merc a nasty boss killer too hehe

4) I can be really effective in party play for sorcs, elemental zons, pallys, trapper sins because of conviction from merc and my curses/minions ^^Builds lacking in AR also gain.

So basically it's not so much about raw damage for merc but how much value he/she could add to your gameplay i feel. FYI complete merc set up:

Set Winged Helm/Kira's<---Uber memp only (special case)
COH Scarab Husk for leech/resists/skill/%ed demon/+str
Eth Infinity CV
