5th Diablo 3 class finally revealed!!!!

I know this is the the wrong place to post this, but i know many of us are anticipating the release of D3 and will eventually transfer over once it is released.

Today, Blizzard announced the 5th and final character of Diablo 3. The Demon Hunter. A mix of an Assassin and Amazon, which was expected.

What is the SPFs opinions?

For me, i love the idea and am looking very much forward to playing her!

Ignore this. I thought the witchdoctor was completely different class than it was.

I'm very disappointed with no Rogue/Amazon class. I guess if there's something that will sell an expansion, it's a ranged class, but this just blows.

Oh dear. The lack of an assassin type character was the main reason for my lack of interest in D3. I was hoping to leave my gaming addiction behind with D2. Looks like I need to start plotting for a new computer...

Looks very cool, but I hope she has some melee attacks too.

I'm glad I respeced my computer for sc2, d3 shouldn't be a problem at all... except for killing any hope I had left of a social life in RL.

Hahaha true.

I actually baught my laptop to match the D3 requirements. So hopefully it doesn't let me down, but it is a very powerful laptop so i am sure D3 will run fine on it :thumbup:.

Now all that remains is the waiting game and for my personal life to be doomed!

I neither have a computer powerful enough to run D3 smoothly, or am interested in MMO (I don't hold hope that D3 will be single player friendly). But out of the 5 classes, demon hunter is the most interesting one. It looks like mainly a modified bow zon (the video suggested some sort of multi shot and dual xbow).

Here is what I think for each class:

Barb - it will be just as we have for D2, without crowd control (there is no suggestion of war cry tree like of skill if I'm not wrong).
Wizard - it will be just a different kind of sorc.
Witch doc - it might be designed as some sort of hybrid necor + druid, but it looks very weak. Possible the weakest in D3.
Monk - a weakened pally? At least it is an interesting class.
Demon hunter - looks very much like a bow zon, with some changes. not sure if there is any melee skill. But looks cool.

this is my thoughts on D3 so far. Honestly I wasnt overly impressed by the initial chars shown (dont play barbs in D2, the witch doctor looks like a toned down and weak necro, the wizard is a sorc, and the monk looked like a toned down pally)

but... I was very impressed by the Demon Hunter showing!

I just hope that my future new MacBook Pro 13" (the one that should come out in Xmas) doesn't run D3 :P Because if it does I know I'll play it!

I was kind of 'meh' until I saw the spinning and grinding metal traps rise from the ground in the trailer :thumbsup:

The one thing that can force me away from New Vegas.

The video of the Demon Hunter was very... swish. I'm sure there won't be any dual-wielding crossbows or somersault backflips in open play, but I wasn't expecting that.

First class I'll try out for is the Witch Doctor, as Necros are a favourite of mine. Never got on with Barbs in D2 but I've never had godly RW weapons.

+1 to the waiting game.

Now waiting for some pala-like class with 2-handed shield.

Cant wait to get my hands on the barb and monk as I love the sin and barb in d2. I kinda like the hunter but I'm not a big fan of ranged combat.

I really have paid very little attention to D3 so far, I do plan on playing it...as long as its not pay to play and my comp can handle it.

It just really irritates me to get all excited about a new game that isn't coming out for a year or so.
