2LODs 2Computers

me and my brothers charing about LOD on 1 coumputer but we have 2 and we have lod installed on both and we planing too buy another LOD for the other computer so we both can play over the internet at the same time and i wonder if we need too buy both d2 and LOD for the other computer or if we just need too uninstall lod on the other computer and install the new LOD we buy so we both can play with 2 different cd keys. Thx

You will need your own Diablo 2 AND Diablo 2: LOD CD-Keys in order to both play online as far as I'm aware. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

yes i mean on my computer i play online with i use my own cd key d2 classic and lod and i have also installed them on my sec computer and if i buy 1lod cd i wonder if i can unistall the cd key on my computer i dont play online or if i will have 2 buy both classic and lod cd key?

You can have one single key installed on 1000 computers if you want. The only limit is that a computer with a specific lod+classic key set can not connect to battle.net as long as someone else with any of those keys is online.
You can play singleplayer on one computer, and on bnet with another using the same keys, but they can not be logged onto bnet at the same time.

the information you've gotten so far is correct, i'll try to say it in a different way in case it is unclear:

when you install D2 it puts your D2 CDkey into a registry file somewhere. when you install LOD instead of overwriting that one, it keeps the old one AND stores the new one. When you log onto battle.net it checks both CDkeys and if either are in use, it won't let you log on. You will get the message: Your CD Key is in use by <username>

So you need a new copy of both D2 and LOD for your second computer. You will need to uninstall, reinstall with the new CDkeys, then you'll be fine.

Cheers.
