Welcome back Wathombe, my friends and I are placing bets on where your Thief in Chief (those people that think this election was clean had better take another look) will take my country to war next. Iran seems to be where most people are putting their money, but Syria has also been mentioned. It is unfortunate that the otherwise intelligent people of America can so easily succumb to propaganda. There was a national outcry when Clinton had oral sex in the Oval Office and yet Bush is able to churn out lie after distortion after falsehood while lining the pockets of his mates and no one seems to care. It makes me sick, but it is truly horrifying to hear some Americans claim he is not only a "Great Man" but the greatest President in US history. But this is not the place to discuss such things (nor is the OTF, filled as it is with ostriches and mushrooms).The world would have been a much safer place without Bush and his masters.

InsaneFarmer you are entitled to your opinion, however I would like you to tell me why you are so willing to go along with random acronyms and blanket testing (not that these methods lack merit) yet find WoW to be a complete waste of time when the theme of Season 2 is "When Worlds Collide". The only thorough examination of Warcraft so far carried out was a MSWord search for runes in a single WoW related document. As expected this yielded little. Suggestions have been made and, despite the fact most came from me, I think these are very strong, much stronger than random acronyms (especially when any acronyms that do turn up will only form a small part of the 23 total words). We are looking for 23 runewords not 2-3 two socket runewords made up of runes below Ist. The majority of these new words WILL be made up of Ist+ runes and this is the reason that very few of the WoW suggestions have been tried.
It is well aknowledged, now, that we are doing this blind and yet Blizzard has given us a clue in the theme of the season, and in the words "the Realm of Diablo is invaded by the World of Warcraft". I am not a programmer but on almost every site I have ever visited in relation to MMORPGs the term "world event" is used to describe the introduction of new content. The awarding of prizes is not new content, and ceratinly does not constitue an invasion of the Realm of Diablo, the 23 new runewords are and do. I do not think that acronyms are the only things to look out for in WoW (although I have offered up a number of suggestions based on prominent names in the mythos and on the races), I think some lateral thinking is required which is why a few weeks ago I posted an excerpt from the WoW history about the Dragon Aspects (with the idea being that each of the 5 Aspects (or the deity that imbued each aspect with power and authority) represented an individual rune in one of the new runewords), unfortunately not a single reply was made to that post. Whether this is because no-one could see a relationship or not makes little difference because the idea is solid. Blizzard will not give us outright clues like "Then did Elune suspect treachery amongst her people for (Ber El Um Dol Ist) they no longer gave her the respect which was her due". Nor will you be walking the streets of Tirisfal and see a Zod rune inscribed on a pillar (at least I assume you won't but I can't be certain because even if my computer was up to spec to run WoW I am unwilling to pay a monthly fee). We need to think and think hard if we are to find something which is why I said what I said to you. As someone that is actually playing the game you are in a position to see and hear things the rest of us are not. You may come across an NPC that tells you about the town you are visiting or an item he has heard of that fleshes out something from the WoW history (or something else from the WoW site - there is a lot more than just the History there) from which we can deduce a possible runeword.
This is NOT from the History but illustrates what I mean: "The Ice Maiden, critically wounded, her sight growing dull, lay down her bow. Looking at her many bleeding wounds in astonishment. "Damn you" she whispered as she breathed her last, taking the secrets of her treasure hoarde to her grave." From this we can deduce Thul or Cham (ice), Lo (critically wounded), Sur (dull sight), Um (bleeding wounds) and Ist (treasure) in a class-specific (Maiden) bow. This is exactly the kind of veiled clue I would expect from Blizzard. This may be made up but I am certain they are out there. Blizzard did not just throw random runes in random items and then just throw them out there and say "hey guys heres some new runewords...you should find them all by 2031". The clues are out there, in WoW, we just have to find them. :spy:
