Sry Ax and to the rest of the forumers, I guess I got a lil' too defensive and didn't read between the lines. I was going on 40+ hours of no-sleep, so thoughts tend to get a bit fuzzy (my sleeping disorder is a trip; I sleep 3-4 hours, and I'm completely refreshed). I still haven't heard from Wathombe (obviously), so I feel we really have to come to a consensus about what to do with the spreadsheet before we start losing fellow testers. And Dud, ur PS was HILARIOUS!!!! Thanks for catching my cute attempt in literary style; I'm just waiting for the opportunity to show off my alliteration skills :bow:

Since the tests appear to have come to a standstill I've uploaded a temporary copy, updated, to my lame web address:

Keep in mind it still uses the original .xls name but due to it being saved in OpenOffice it may or may not be exactly the same format. OO warned me about information being lost, but it may always say that when saving outside its own format. Otherwise, everything up to Andy's wand tests have been entered.

Andy: Speaking of which, I'm assuming you're trading for PULs, UMs and MALs to try finishing the wand tests up to MAL+MAL. If nothing is found I'm also going to assume you'll slow any further wand tests and try others (such as hammers since Wathombe was starting to do them but now is absent) in the long meantime you'll have between getting ISTs.

I may eventually add suggestions as to what runes we need and what runes should be cubed, a page for total tests in 2OS grids (a 2OS grid noting which combinations have been tried in all items) so we can stop looking for those in trades and cube the rest to the more usable upgrading/crafting runes. If I can come up with a few good crafts or gambles we can start getting practice for season three, as well as a technique for getting plenty of high runes quickly by autorushing our own mules during our gameplay. This is a long way off but if most of you will be here for LS3 then maybe it's worth writing up.

Anything else let me know.
 
i'm glad to see you guys haven't stopped completely. but of course 3000+ posts and months later and no results i see why people are giving up... i'm pretty sure wathombe is busy with the new Grand Theft Auto game. As for myself, I managed to get into the open beta for World of Warcraft. It's an intensely cool game, I highly suggest that anyone who loves diablo 2 to get into it once it is released. Unfortunately the Open beta slots were filled by yesterday. The servers are all being used as a stress test anyways and there's a lot of lag. but i managed to get a char up to level 6 last night in 8 hours of playing. i played quite a while before i realized that grinding xp through kills like in EQ is an extremely slow process and it's better to do quests. just a tip for anyone who might play eventually

i'm probably going to stop posting on the diablo 2 forums and switch to the world of warcraft ones. anyhow peace all

oooh good job! :thumbsup: yah wathombe said half way mark is Mal*Mal so i might just go up to there and help out with the hammers or something. it will be harder to get those higher runes for me

So now I understand why they call you "freakin'." After 40 hours I'd be brain dead - a trip indeed.


Ax: I see you are taking your punishment well. Good Job! Thanks for getting everything up to speed. I'll try to double check against the posts, just because it has been so long since the last update. Oh, and I wonder if anyone's assumed the position as your cabin boy...

It's showing up when I view the page in IE6 under Item_type acronyms as FALSE.

But it is missing from the 'Random 4os' page. that is where I was looking.
 
havent posted in a while

yo all, i havent posted in a long time and i had a lot of reading to catch up on. I kinda missed out on a lot of the discussion on things during my absence but i like the gj everyones doing.

ya i have mostly been playen halo 2 over the last couple of days and wow it's a blast. i beat it yesterday. I was playen norm :( because my freind "isnt good enough to play anyhthing higher" but whatever. So i now regoen through it on heroic, then probably legendary.


well gl with the hunt, it's interesting that kenny z asked how the hunt was going. if somoene would look up that post and maybe point him our way that would be cool. cya all

I haven't beat it yet, saving it for mostly co-op play.

As for Kenny, I talk to him most days of the week on a private channel (b.net). I can tell you that he is not about to release the words. He was gathering runes to donate for the cause last I heard of it....that is where that should end.
