23 Runeword Search Thread

Question, I thought runewords only worked in normal socketed items and not in magical. Yet I have seen a few posts in here with socketed SUPERIOR armor. I know the example on Summit says it wont in mechanic's, well doesn't superior items fall under this same thing? Or am I miss reading it?

Ok I talked extencively with the guy that made this mod I was using for making ladder items only and discovered that the .mpq file was totally different for uniques as it was for runes and runewords so no such luck. I tested almost all the helms to no avail. What's strange is I CAN make any currently active and LISTED runeword IE the ones that were suggested to me as being the newest, durress and such. I dunno, maybe it's only version related or maybe these runewords were always active?
I tried either way but I don't think I can test with any decent % chance of accuracy at runes being true or not. Good luck to you all as I dont even have a ladder char and can't help out in that area. Unless there are some sort of clues that blizz likes to 'leak' out every so often I don't think I'll be of any good to this noble project.

Somebody made a very good suggestion of putting a new thread up, with nothing BUT a list of tested runewords. Make it 1 page, have somebody reliable keep it updated, only 2-3 posts, max (Post runeword attempts or pernumerations here, edit/update the other thread, bookmark it for people that need it, or save a link and post it in this thread, because it will fall to the bottom)
Oh, and yes, my luck is very odd/sporodic. Today I ran hell countess alone.
I am not sure what she dropped, or what her minions dropped, but when it was all over and done, the following runes were on the floor infront of me. I think some were dropped by her minions, but my jaw dropped none the less...

Oh, and yes, my luck is very odd/sporodic. Today I ran hell countess alone.

Psy, I'd give Law a shot. The next highest runeword from the list with Um and Fal requires an Ohm. Other option is to gamble them into Armors and Helms etc.
Ike, congratulations. Nice to see your odds are leveling out. If you want to start up an organizational thread. I'd just post the links to our two spreadsheets in a separate Discussion. And just bump it regularly. I'll be sure to put a date and time of revision on my spreadsheets from now on so as to not confuse testers.

Well since I found a 4 socket scepter.
Tried Oath and and the other earlier one, cant remember the name, bot to no avail.

Why exactly haven't we tested Storm? It's the only recipe below Lum that we haven't tested. Do we just lack a 5soc axe or hammer?
Great testing everybody. I'm hoping to get a few hours in tonight or tomorrow. Busy weekend for my wife and I here--the woman who owns the house we rent is in from Beirut, so we have to make the place presentable.
I beat NM Ancients Thursday night, though, so I'm not far from Hell Countess, then I'll be rolling in the runes!

Somehow I managed to not have excel. I'd love to help, but I can't get to any of the databases, and this thread's gotten just a little bit intimidating.
