Finally found one of these, haven't seen one myself before:
Not the best of rolls, but beats a normal poleaxe insight by miles.
I also finally managed to build an Oath. Now I'm doing quite a bit more damage, especially more consistent damage since the min-dmg of an honor Scourge is quite some way away from its maxdmg,... but I hit way less, under 80% chance to hit things now.
I'm back to discussing with myself whether to respec a bit more into axe mastery or if I should wait for that sweet sweet Lo rune which will get me my grief.
Edit: Tried to get a screenie of the Oath in as an edit, but it seems the file is too large... oh well, it's in an ethereal Ettin Axe

@Basicbhoy NM Countess mostly drops up to Io. So it might be hard to get a Lum from her. Then again you might luck out, or get some Io runes quickly and cube them up. Good luck !!

I'm currently playing a Wind druid, but I think if I find a WWS and some other pieces of melee gear, I'd use a respec to play with the bow.

After hitting 92 I was thinking about going back to LK again, but rerolling maps, I just remembered how much I hated them with my Paladin. So I went back to Travincal and got this one while still rerolling maps
So I'm going to respec now, to divert some points from strength to vitality and some points from Holy Shield to Resist Fire, to increase my fire res above the 75% cap.
I actually haven't been playing ShouldBeEasy much, as I have been mainly focusing on Grapelike lately. I guess that will change now. So let's give an overview for Grapelike as well, shall we?
Grapelike did more Countess runs, in search for good runes and good bases. The latter didn't come initially, the former came rather fast though.
These, and a Ko not much later. Nice start !!
After that I rerolled maps a few times, as I still had the feeling I could improve. After a while I got a map where Treshers dropped on a regular base from the rack in lvl 5. Four white ones later, used in the cube recipe, and I had 3 with 5os and one with 2os. Nice. Now to find that Fal rune for Obedience !! I didn't get that one, but got this very nice triple drop instead:
I could almost cube up to Obedience at this point, but a 4os Tresher dropped before that happened. So I bit the bullet, respecced to meet the str and dex req, and got myself a nice Insight Tresher.
Performance with this weapon wasn't bad, but I must admit I had expected better. Maybe it's because a Barb already has CS from his Mastery, so the CS on Insight doesn't do that much for him, and I'm better off with an Obedience than with this low ED% Insight?
I pushed a bit further and got to the Outer Cloister waypoint, after which I did a few Pit runs. Those were slow though, so I suspect that next time I'll continue with more Countess runs. But first things first, let's get back to ShouldBeEasy !!!

I was out of town last week through this Monday, and then was really busy at work, so playing time was limited since my last update.
But Quinta got some more LK runs in, with a goal of another 500 runs for 2000 LK runs total. She netted Mal #4 and Ist #3 in the first 300 runs, with this nice GC mixed in:
Then on run #324 (#1824 overall) she picked up Sur #2 (having to dig through the gold and some potions before it revealed itself after seeing the orange flash and just *knowing* it was a high rune):
I had already decided to go for Infinity first to try “running” Baal, hoping for runes to drop along the way to eventually allow Enigma. So after getting to 350 LK runs (1850 total), we Hel’ed one of her low roll eth Insight CVs, and had Infinity:
She still didn’t have decent javelins or head gear, we rolled another Meph map, eventually landing one where stairs down were an immediate left turn from WP with only a short hallway mixed in. With Infinity, she could finally run him at p3 safely, and she also mixed in p5 Pindle runs.
Within 15 runs a golden Shako dropped, and she finally had a non-eth one (which was immediately socketed for a very welcome upgrade over her 3 pTopaz mask). Within 5 minutes, she also picked up a Thunderstroke, prompting her to use her final quest reward re-spec to rebalance for higher dexterity to equip that.
I think she may go back and forth between p7 Pindle and p3 Meph for a little while, hoping for Titan’s or a lucky rune drop. I might just settle into that routine for a tenth of this level before regearing for Baal runs. We’ll see!

I also got a couple 10-minute testing sessions in with Pestilence.
Unfortunately, the average for Pit runs is closer to 3M/hr with the current map. And I still don’t think I will be able to make CS work. The XP is barely better than Pit runs (basically a wash in two 10-minute sessions), and more dangerous and frustrating. It’s also a really good map for Gripphon runs, with multiple boss packs clustered around the seals and no bosses right at the pentagram to allow easy kills for a few revives at the beginning of each run.
Basically, the only option is 75 FCR (Spirit, arachnids, trang gloves), with Shako as the helm. I wish Gripphon had made a vid because I’d really like to see how he made it work. Apparently, 6 skillers and no +skill rings (but using a +2 skill amulet, so only -4 skills to his set up) isn’t enough.
I want to play around a little more with curses (seeing if more use of amp damage would work better). But I will likely focus on Pit runs, possibly rerolling maps to see if faster XP is possible on a map with similar density on level 1 but more consistent 3+ boss packs on level 2. It’s much smoother and allows better MF, so the slower XP gain relative to my prior 99ers will be offset by a stronger chance to tick off one of three remaining overall grailers.

My character - a now level 94 hardcore amazon - stagnated quite a bit this year due to bad gear, so I took an extended break from leveling to get some gear. This started to change fairly rapidly when I rolled basically the best durance 2 map possible, so I started doing thousands of meph runs. This has now changed; despite the fact that my Titan's was an extremely low roll (153/9), it was a titan's, which was a massive improvement over what I'd been using up until that point. Over the next couple of weeks I got a shako and some better charms, situating myself to do some /p8 pits. Getting about ~1m a run I was going at a decent clip, but I was still flirting with death more often than I'd liked and my gear was still pretty crappy, so I went back to meph for awhile. To be honest, it was pretty sad... until today.
Within the last 24 hours my character has gotten a soj, a mara's and a stormshield, each of which constituted a significant gear improvement (I wouldn't generally use a soj on a javazon, but the terrible crafted ring it replaced will not be missed). My current setup is not amazing by any means, but things are looking much better:
Helm - Um'd Shako
Amulet - Mara's (20 all res -_-)
Weapon - Upped Titan's (153/9 -_-)
Shield - Pdiamond SS
Armor - Peace in a Scarab Husk
Gloves - 3/20s
Rings - SoJ, Raven Frost
Belt - Tgod's
Boots - War Travs
...Plus a couple of skillers, some decent scs and an above average Gheed's.
So I'm off Meph for awhile as he has basically nothing else to offer this character. I did a couple dozen pit runs today to close out level 93 and the difference the gear has made has been truly astounding. I will probably focus on leveling from here on out and will likely switch to the pit as I still basically have to reset baal attempts if there are too many souls in the throne room.
Gear-wise, the biggest two improvements I can think of are CoH and Infinity, both of which require Bers. Now, this is a pretty distant prospect, since the highest rune this character had found was an um... until today.
...Of course, cham is a pretty crappy rune. But it's high!
Anyway, hopefully 94-95 will take me less time than 93-94 did - based on my last post here, it took me about nine months - but I have the gear to actually put a dent in the exp total, so I imagine it will.

Out of curiosity, how long did it take to shop those 3/20 gloves? My zon picked up some rare 2/20 gloves early, but has little luck with only a few 10-15 power shopping sprees to look for the 3/20 upgrade. She's done a few p3 CS full clears and has a nice Pit map (close to Black Marsh WP and linear layout). The WSK map isn't bad either (short hallway on WSK2 and a long straight corridor on WSK3). So she will likely focus on CS and/or Baal until she picks up a couple GCs to use up her ~300 pgems. Then she will likely cycle between the Pit, CS, Baal, and stretches of Pindle to 95.

The first post-97 checkpoint has been safely reached as Klaus has officially passed the 3.00B mark!
Some good drops right away in Stormspire, and Shadow Dancers (those hit my overall grail too!). He also found his first fire facet, and it's even pretty decent!
This allowed Klaus to remove the PTopaz from his Ravenlore and jazz it up a little bit:

I had to do a pile of charm/jewelry swapping to bolster Klaus' resistances after the loss of Spirit. Ended up taking a bit of a hit to MF, but that's no big deal since he has all his major S/U gear found already. His MF currently sits at 226. Here's how he looks now:
Cold res has taken a hit, but since he's retired from the Ancient Tunnels that isn't as important anyways. Speaking of which, I suppose it's time to roll a better CS map with shrines and see how the numbers really flesh out. He won't be sad to see those Tunnels go, that's for sure!
