Hi, Everyone! Welcome to the new Ladder Price Check Thread! With the new Ladder Season in motion, some of you may have already found items that you need price checks on. While this thread is dedicated just for that purpose, NL items are also welcome here. :grin:

Rules

1. No spamming. Any posts asking for price checks on NL dupes will also be considered as spam.

2. This is not a trade thread, if you are interested in an item that has been posted, please PM that person instead.

3. When posting an item, you may add a screenshot. Here are links to sites that you can use to host your pictures:

if you're requesting a 'service' from someone, make it easy on them. indicate EVERYTHING pertinent to the item.
Include:
* Realm/mode (e.g. softcore, classic, non-ladder)
* Item's requirements (str/dex/level)
* Item's color
* Then the laundry list of mods

Okay, here's the first price check for the new Ladder. :grin:

OkHello - That Chain Mail is the only item of any real value. You could probably pass that off for a SoJ or some other nice Rare item that you need. The IJB won't be of much worth to anyone playing HC since most will opt for a Shard/Res Wand and Priz Shield, but to a person just starting off, there is a small chance that they'll take it for a few PGems. The Manald and Ward can go for other useful Uniques and Set Items, so look around and see who wants what.

Teotwauki - The Great Helm is worth a Gull for now until people start finding better items, so it's best to trade it now while you can. The Full Plate Mail is sexy. For someone starting an Ornadin or some other high Str Hdin, you could get a SoJ+ or other nice Rares for it.

Thanks! I made a mistake on the mods of the Chain Mail though, instead of 30 cold 25 lightning, it's 30 cold 25 fire. Does this change anything?

And how about a +4 Hammer War Scepter? (+1 Pala +3 BH)

I know +5 is max, but still? Also the level requirement of only 22 seems neat.

I'd imagine this would be very valuable at the start of the ladder.

Hmm... Now this is only my opinion, but in my mind they are not worth anymore than they were before the reset. The reason for this is that everything is 'more valuable'. Would u part with a just found soj (your only one) to an axe u just descriped? The answer is no, since that soj is also more 'valuable' as is the axe...

Therefore, only uniqs like shard, etc. are the 'winners' that have temporarely been elevated to a slightly higher status. Certainly some items like sorc shields are more sought after than they used to be. But with intense mfing the market will re-establish itself in a few weeks.

Haven't found anything major on ladder yet. These dropped from hell memph and having traded gloves previously as far a back as in patch 1.09, was wondering what people would be willing to pay for these, if anything? Anyway, they are quite nice on my memph glitcher, since i get fcr to 70 from shard and couple of fcr rings...

VThief - Gull.

OkHello - That Scepter isn't worth a whole lot, but to someone just getting their HDin started on Ladder, it's worth a few useful Set Items and/or PGems. As for the Gloves you posted, it's decent for an MF Barb, but other than that, it's mostly worthless. A few PSkulls or Set Items at the most.

Murrogh - Woah, nice Partizan! It would go nicely on a BvS, so if you're planning on building one any time soon, you have your weapon. However, if you're going to trade it off, ask 2+ SoJs or at least 1 SoJ with a bunch of nice rares.

compres - It's not an entirely terrible Ornate, and it would've probably been worth .75 of a SoJ if it didn't have PR. However, it's still a decent BvB Orn to start with, and to most people, it'll probably be worth a Rare of the same value, some useable Set Items, and maybe even a Gull if you're lucky.

Pugz - Hmm, that Ancient Axe is a bit low on damage and AR, but if you're lucky, you could get a SoJ for it. If it was somewhere in the middle of the Ladder season, I'd probably say good luck trying to get one, but hopefully, some desperate soul will cough a SoJ up for it. As for the Ornate, it would make a nice BvA Armor, but it's definitely not SoJ worthy. Pick up 2 Gulls or some other nice Rares for it.

Lorg - SoJ+ for it, nothing less. :thumbsup:

Hey, what's a shard worth in EuScl? I'm hoping to trade one for a lance and leech rings.

I just traded one of my shards for this rare ring:

22fr

Dex + tri res non psn. I think I got the better end of the deal.

But Im not sure just how good the deal exactly was so It'd be great if someone could give me some input.
