So if you duel a pally with Principle he would cast a holy bolt to heal you every time he hits you,isn't that nice :uhhuh:

You can only heal others with Holy Bolt, not yourself.

But they are cheap to make for those who can't afford Enigma or COH but still wants an armor with +2 skills.

look at the assasin one; the ctcs are very nice, as is the ias/fhr. The zon one is good too since the critical strike is for any char, not just zons; same with the +1 warmth on the sorc one. These would all be a good alternative to duress for a merc, especially if you make use of the eth bug and end up with only 3 sockets So for a pul here and a shael there, you can have yourself some very nice merc armors w/o the more expensive rune requirements.

Everyone who says "LOL THESE R TEH SUKC" is probably non-ladder. We don't have duped high runes yet, so there are pretty sweet for us.

Oh, and Treachery is insane for Poison Dagger necros. I expect to see a whole lot more of them coming up. I plan on making one, for sure.

edit: I must say though, Principle is pretty terrible. You pay a Gul, you get nothing except 2 to skills, and Holy Bolt. That's seriously as bad as Wind.

He DID say that he would be healing the guy he's hitting. But you're both wrong. HB only works on people in your party, so it would pass right through him.

edit: I must say though, Principle is pretty terrible. You pay a Gul, you get nothing except 2 to skills, and Holy Bolt. That's seriously as bad as Wind.

But it WOULD be fun to have a crap bow and strafing undead to keep blasting holybolts into them and piercing for even more. Or, even better, you could start shooting a group of enemies around a tanker and keep healing him for a bit per arrow that's on line to him. That would keep him alive for a bit.

All garbage, the only remotely useful ones are the assasin and zon words. The barb and pally ones just make me shake my head, as a simple armor like twitchthroe/greyform crushes both.
