1.10 Grail Status Tables

With full credit to the “other site†for the idea, I thought it would be good to start a grail status table for this site. The tables would be formatted like the above examples. Grailers who want to be included in the table would just hit reply to the previous post with the table in it and add their name and grail status to the table. The table is a little tricky at first but once you get the hang of it it’s not too bad (just make sure to hit preview to see that the columns are lined up and make any necessary adjustments before posting).

I know some players have differing goals in their grails, but for these tables, so that we’re comparing apples to apples, I believe that the 1.10 grail should consist of every set and unique item in the game. Rainbow Facet Jewels should count as just 1 item even though they can spawn with 8 different mods (just like Ormus’ Robe only counts as 1 item).

I’ll start off the table in the next post. Please posts any questions, comments or complaints.

Here's my status. By the way feel free to add your name to both lists if you're going for a self-found grail but still like to trade (like me). :uhhuh:
 
there seems to be a problem here. shouldn't the third colum be 'total' not 'total left' since the number is just the sum of the previous two columns. 'total left' would be the total of all grail items still needed i.e. all items minus your total. which do you want to see? BTW, 'remaining' is a better word than 'left' in this case

missing set items + missing unique items = missing total items :scratch:
I agree total remaining sounds better than total left – I’ll change that.

My self-found Grail would better, but I haven't found 5 of those TC3 uniques myself :teeth:
 
I like the idea of this grail tally. I myself have a rather convulted grail. I add-on two 1.09 items to the full unique/set grail. Those are the normal unique Azurewrath and the Siggard's Stealth. :thumbsup:

Sorry if I didn’t make it clear, but you should add your name to the table, not replace the previous entries in it. That way we will have a table (kind of like a ladder) of everyone’s grail progress. So you should insert your name in the appropriate row, with the closest to the grail (least items remaining) on top.
 
Buster, I want to revise my grail list. I do not want to have 1.09 part of my grail goal, since I already have those two 1.09 items that cannot be found in 1.10 final patch. I do not want to confuse people that I have lots of 1.09 items in my grail. :)

Am I missing something or is something wrong?

In every listing the set and unigues add up to the total remaining. That would not necessarily be correct. I may be wrong.

Also you are meaning set as the full set right?

Why would it not be correct Johnny Bravo? The item grail usually includes all unique and set items, so naturally the remaining items to the grail would be based on the sum of the remaining items in the two columns.

To answer your second question, the item grail includes all uniques and set items, so all sets must have all their set items to be complete. :)

Let's say there are 4 sets and 5 unigues. That would be a total of 9 items. If you have 3 sets and 4 unigues that would be a total of 7 items. The total remaining would be the sum of the first two columns subtracted for the overall total. In this example the Total Remaining would be 2. I hope this makes since.

The set and unique columns display how many set and unique items you are missing from your 1.10 grail not how many you have. So obviously, if you are missing 1 set item and 1 unique item (from your example) you would be missing a total of 2 items.

I am not following you, because to get the remaining numbers you are actually subtracting all the items that you found from the total number of items that your subjective grail is suppose to contain.

For instance, if you look at all the items that I have from a FARA report (look here). You will see that I have zero set items left to find, but 15 unique items left to find. Since my grail is to find all the unique and set items in the 1.10 patch, I have 15 items left to find.

EDIT: I just saw Buster explain how it worked and your epiphany Johnny Bravo. :)

One more down on my SF grail since Meph was kind enough to drop me an Andariel's Visage tonight.

Plus I had to fix up the hacket job that Justin did to the table. :lol:

Just 5 grailers on this site? :scratch: This is generating as much interest as the recent MFO. Does anyone in the SP forum have any interest in magic finding or collecting anymore or do most people just join to request free itamz? Or is it just that no has any desire for competition? The grail table on the other site has at least 25 players competing in it and this forum which has over 10x the members has 5, that’s pretty pathetic.

I'm sorta interested, but MF running sounds incrediably boring to me. So I find what my characters find as I go thru the game. Which means I'll never get done and if I ever do I'd be last. And lastly I usually play characters that need resistances and stuff from gear so I couldn't run around with tons of MF on.
