[1.09d] No socketed armor drops

I farmed with 0%MF but didn't found a single socketed armor yet, is this a bug specific to this version? I don't remember this situation on LoD so can this be possible only in Classic? I am trying to obtain a 4 Socket Full Plate Armor for my MF sorceress or at least a 3 socket Breast Plate but haven't found any socketed armor...

Tried to obtain the armor farming NM cows and Hell cows, also on NM and Hell Flayer jungle...

In classic, body armors don't have sockets on their own, but I think there's a cube recipe which adds a socket to rare body armors.

Thanks I read on a wiki that indeed classic doesn't drop or spawn socketed armors, man, it has been a while since I played Classic...

3perfect skulls + 1rare + 1Stone of Jordan will put a socket on any rare capable of sockets on Classic too...
