I've scored a Skullders, Shaftstop, and a Lidless off Mephy the past couple days.

At least i have two champions sword.. And a nice map.. Took 3h to get two houses near the tristportal ..

Robby. I saw a thread about a nice champions sword you made. What's the damage before you socked it?

Oh my god!! Look at this pretty thing! :D Amazing!! I guess i need to find a nice ed-jewel now.
I have a 32% ed and a 26% ed with 1 min dmg. Should i use them? I think the third slot deserves an amn.

OMG OMG OMG! A CRUEL OF QUICKNESS!!! I never rolled anything near that nice! Congrats, Klonki - that is one sweet stick - a real 1.09 brass ring item! I would not waste those sockets on either of those jewels - I think that sword merits something like this:

An eth huh? :) I loove it! Amazing after so many crappy rolls, a really nice roll. :)

Yeah! I guess i need to find some. I've got a 32ed jool... I think i put a shael and an amn in the 2nd one i crafted..

I'm not going to say that you will never roll another sword that sweet, but I will say it's the best chippie sword I've ever seen, and I have a stack of Cruel swords from that recipe (much more like that second sword you rolled).

I suggested champs because of the lower lvl req and faster base speed.

Yeah, patience is the key. Also a good rolled map for Stony field.. Just to pop those chests and beds. Clearing the cain-portal after..

Item for discussion - what is THE BEST character to run 1.09 Pindle? I have a couple of runners, but if there's a better option, I'd be open to trying.

Issue with 1.09 Pindle is that he doesn't really HIT very hard, but the death explosion resurrection bug DOES hurt, especially under Amp or Conv.

My WW Barb runs him pretty well with 500+ MF on kill (gogo dual Ali Babas!) and he never really gets hurt, but he tends to take a while for the horking and I usually have to pick up and drink potions to clear the screen if Pindle pops under Hork. So my average time to run him is longer than for other characters. My favorite part of using a Barb is that I almost never have to fill his bulbs at the start of the next run because of BO. Since he's 99, I don't get the extra benefit of XP from running. Get's through town fairly fast but takes a second for buffing.

My Zon runs him really well too, and since she uses FA with the Buriza, the minions are almost always shattered (so no resurrection bombs). 3-piece Tal's with Langer Briser on switch with GA gives a 400+MF kill. She runs him significantly faster, but doesn't have Hork. Lvl 99, so no XP benefit. She doesn't need to do any buffs, so she just goes (but is slower than Barb and Sorc).

My Nova Sorc doesn't have nearly the MF (but with Ist in the Wizzy, she does get over 200MF), but she kills hims FAST - as fast as the others, but on P3. The major drawback is that she is VERY susceptible to the resurrection bombs with her low HP and the merc struggles a little since I have Tal's armor instead of Gladiator's Bane on him (thus no FHR). Even with Blackhorns and Tal's Armor, Conv LE usually takes him out. But, she's only level 91, so XP is a big benefit. I bit of a pain to use Memory weapon switch to buff merc with Enchance and cast Chilling Armor every run.

My Pally does pretty good and with a nice level of 300MF (uses Lightsabre instead of Schaefer's so he can sport a Rhyme Crown Shield) but it's a pain to cast HS every run - he's the fastest runner cuz he has Vigor - and he's level 96 so XP helps. Sactuary makes PI Pindle a cinche, but usually have to visit Malah to refresh.

Those are my regular Pindle runners - does anybody have an idea for a better build to get to and kill Pindle fast and safe, and with copious loads of MF?

An idea HAS occurred to me that I could use that spare 1.09 Vex to make a Silence Phase Blade for the Pally, but it seems a waste of a valuable potential beta RW rune and the monsters fleeing might be a pain. The resists could allow me to stock more MF charms too.
