Yeah i know.. It's crazy. Right now i'm doing some chippie-farming. Found a nice wp with some houses with chests. I think i have rolled a cb 25 times without anything worth to save..

If you keep rolling I think you can roll something crazy like a Cruel Sword of Evisceration or quickness or badassery I can't remember.

Sounds cool. I saw some of Robbys rolls. Crazy swords! Does it matter if i roll them in normal? I'm currently clvl78. Is it enough to get a nice roll on my 2 cb?

I don't think it should matter. I am not going to say with a certainty, but I don't believe so. I don't think the character level matters either. The two places by the blood raven are good sources for chipped gems as well. Another thing you can do is when you make a new character just clear everything in act 1 along the way and you can usually get a pretty good amount of them.

Ok! Well i choose stony field-wp. Two houses with a bed and a chest in each one of them. Also some uniqe and some champions. A nice maproll! :)

The swords I rolled with the chippies never got a good suffix with the "Cruel" prefix, but that's the beauty of the 3 sox you get - also, don't look at those 1.07 craft swords I got from WoRG for my whirly barb - I traded for those - 1.09 crafts can't get nearly as awesome and don't get the 3 sox from Larzuk.

BTW, if you're rolling Barb swords, I recommend Champion Swords over Colossus Blades because of the base speed of [-10] versus [5] - unless you roll some IAS with the Cruel, you need 2 full Shaels in the CB to hit the last WW IAS BP, and the last socket should get an Eth (if you want to exploit the 1.09 Eth rune bug). With Champion Swords, you have more flexibility for Ruby of Inertia charms and/or for flexibility with a Frenzy Barb. If you plan to use him for Mephy running, Frenzy is a better choice than WW, but for Pindle, WW beats Frenzy.

@Klonki - let me clarify what I was saying. I got some nice rolls with the chippies that helped my original Barb and to bridge my Pally between the Hand of Blessed Light and the Schaefer's Hammer, but it was mostly the roll of the Cruel range. Fact is, though, my very favorite swords (and my best suffix - of the Bat, I think) were the Cruel Legend Swords I had for my whirler - level 44 req, [-15] base speed so a Shael got them to the last BP - but I couldn't use chippies - Legend Swords have too low a qlvl, so I actually had to go pGems (well, one I found - I always pick up legend swords) and Larzuk (1 and 2 sox) - but whirling through normal Lister with those was sublime!

Haha hmmm..... I am not looking forward to that one lol. Maybe I will be surprised though. Just not sure of what kind of build to do. He will be last when I have some good gear so maybe it makes it a little more fun.

Oh right robby! I will try to buy a couple of legend swords and a couple of champion swords. :) I lost my awsome map in normal :( Tried 2-3 hours now just to get a simular one...

Bad news, Klonki - you can't buy legend swords. 1.09 is bugged in that Hell Act 1 and 2 vendors never spawn elite items. You gotta find Legend Swords - that's why I always pick those up.

I guess I should disclose that I'm back running 1.09 Pindle for the WF. I have all the other bows. If I find it, I'll do a WF Strafer.

PegLeg has seen my Fury Wolf in action - I had forgotten how efficiently that puppy gets the job done.

I can vouch for the Fury Wolf. That weapon is a beast! He can run almost as fast as a sorc can teleport too!

Scored another perfect nagel ring today! 1 each of the last two days is unheard of. I will gladly take it though! :thumbup:
