1.00 News, Info and Gossip

I posted a few youtube videos and I heard about the set stacking on death from one of my viewers. The same viewer also mentioned that when bones are cast they are "objects" but if you leave the zone far enough away and then come back, when they reappear they will be "enemies" and if you kill them with a different character then mf will apply. I believe two rituals you can force at least sets (and failed sets) in 1.00, but I didn't try too much and my memory is fuzzy because when I saw how fast I can get rares in 1.06 I just went there.

I will probably test turning bone walls into enemies "some day", but as with infinite grind objectives sometimes "some day" never arrives so it may be worth for you to try it out if you think it sounds plausible :)

Is it worth putting points in Blood Golem beyond the first? It seems like IM is dealing all the damage, and the leech rate hasn't really been an issue for me (p8, so leeching _a lot_). I'm hoping to shave points where I can since IM, CE, and Revive all want 20 points.

you can if you want to, usually i start running out of ideas for what to do with skill points later on, because it doesn't matter all that much once CE and IM are maxed. revives can help in some areas like CS.

Thanks! Good to know that slvl 1 is enough to keep a golem alive. I hadn't thought of Golem Mastery to make golems tougher/faster.

Another question: does anyone have the Strafe attack speed formula handy? I saw it on one of the archived sites (and discussion on 1-frame Strafe) but can't find it on Lurker Lounge or the old Basin.

You're in luck, i happen to be building an attack speed calculator in my nerdy spreadsheet :p

The info is scattered and hard to find, so ill start with a link to the breakpoints:

Amazon Basin Wiki

If you want the actual formula, its a sequence attack and uses a modified version of the basic formula which takes into account a variable known as rollback. I havent worked this out in my calculator yet but it looks easier than the shapeshifting tables im currently working on so it shouldnt be long now.

For the formula itself, you can start here:

Note: i dont know if the formulas are different in classic
