When
D2R was released, one of the biggest inspirations for me was the expanded stash.
That extra space gave me a crazy idea:
why not try to fill an entire stash with High Runes, starting from Um and above?
Thus, the project began named
“The Moo Moo Rune Project”, since the
Secret Cow Level became my main hunting ground and primary source of high runes.

The Rune wealth when the project was inspired!
The project was eventually completed but not without adjustments along the way. At first, I included
Um runes, but they quickly filled too many stash slots. So I raised the bar to start from
Mal and above. Soon, the same problem happened with
Mals, so I shifted again to
Ist and above, then to
Gul and above. Finally, I decided to aim only for
Vex and above as and I knew this was my one chance to see an entire stash filled with
true High Runes.
After nearly three years of farming, I was just a few runes away from completing the project. That’s when a new idea struck.
Farm Cows until I find a Zod rune! Not only would it make for great YouTube content, but it would also help me finish my stash project at the same time.

The Stash before the new Zod project idea.
The project of farming Cows until a
Zod turned into what felt like a never-ending nightmare. The Zod stubbornly refused to appear, no matter how many herds I slaughtered. On the brighter side, the endless runs did bless me with plenty of other
High Runes, gradually filling up my previous stash and pushing that project closer to completion. But still, no Zod. Eventually, I reached the point where the stash was already bursting with runes. After
3100 Cow Runs, I finally had to accept reality: the Zod wasn’t coming. Reluctantly, I laid the project to rest.

2400 Runs With Javazon 700 Runs with Mosaic
The
Zod Project may have failed, but the
Moo Moo Rune Project turned out to be a complete success surpassing even my own expectations!
At last, it was time to merge all the runes together into a single stash and...
Voila! The mighty D2R stash wasn’t just filled with High Runes, it was
overflowing with true High Runes, a sight I never thought I’d see with my own eyes.

All the rune wealth combined… and even 20 Vex Runes couldn’t fit inside the main stash!
I began this project not long after D2R’s release, and because of it, I never created a single Runeword that required a High Rune.
Nearly four years later, I can finally set myself free from this burden and begin creating and more importantly, rolling Runewords.
But here’s the twist: when I look at that stash now, it shines so brilliantly, so perfectly, that it almost feels wrong to touch it.

Maybe… just maybe… I want it to stay that way forever. My runes… my precious!
Bonus:
I also have these on 1.14d.
