Why is it interesting? Because one of the scum apologised to his/her/its buddies for not being present at the end of day 2 in order to sway the voting. This confirms FoE as 100% scum, which in turn casts serious doubt on Goryani. Whoever it is, they mentioned the only way they would have succeeded in swaying the voting is with a false Vigilante claim (I don't follow their thinking, but that's what they said). This scum also cursed in a way very reminiscent (eerily so) of Pyro a few posts above.

The rest was stating they need to get rid of someone (me, presumably, in which case Goryani may be just an idiot and not scum), and that they need to protect someone else, at the cost of stopping them from using his ability (dunno how that would work, but it's very clear that protection = no ability).

Personally, due to the foul-mouthed mimicry of what I heard overnight, and the absence from the thread for the 24 hours leading up to the lynch, I believe Pyro is scum. However, he can wait for tomorrow, as can Goryani. Today,

Also the daytime kill part is mos def makin' memories.

In light of Drixx' alleged investigations it makes it difficult to support the target choice, regardless of the coolness of the event.

When will day end? I'm quite willing to cast the lock vote in order to lynch Frodorick. I have no power role so bombing me will result in no significant town loss.

I agreed to nothing like this. You had no idea I was going to do such a thing because at the time you talked about asking the mod a question, I didn't know I was going to use it let alone tell you about it.

Is that it? Investigation targets and reveals is the big information you wanted to ask the mod about? If you post that my reply is that there are a number of reasons why Sathoris could be scum and you get that result. Results shouldn't be blindly followed and there was more than enough scummy behavior from Sathoris to merit closer inspection. I could have told you this earlier but I asked you for no details even though I was pretty sure about your role (and was pretty sure yesterday - a cop tends to be suspicious when they see someone else claim cop).

That's what I did here. A mountain of evidence was growing and I made the decision early in the day (less than 24 hours into the day).

Yes I'm fairly sure anyone paying attention realized why I was sniffing around Jason so much. I certainly didn't know you had an insta-kill, but I wanted to know from the mod if my investigations would have returned "mason" or just affiliation. That was a critical distinction for whether I could speak to Sarthoris.

You [highlight]STILL[/highlight] haven't told us what Sarthoris flipped, but doing so would help clear up whether my results can be trusted. If you're a townie, that's info you should give us. What did Sarthoris flip?

As I said earlier, I consider Naive cop to be a bastard role because there is no way for the Naive cop to realize they are Naive without harming the town,and once they do realize there's nothing useful to do with the role. It may be the "most common" variant, but that doesn't make it a non-bastard role :)

Perhaps I'm getting days mixed up in my head. Is this the same conversation about skimming while on the bus? If so, I'm not quite sure how that casts doubt on me other than my staunch refusal to vote FoE yesterday. A refusal based on your own comfort with FoE's claim.

Absolutely, positively not me! I've had no chat outside this thread for the entire game. If you post this after Sathoris claims, and after Drixx posts the investigation results, I STILL pull the trigger.
 
You are getting days mixed up. What you quoted is outlining the conversation I heard last night. The stuff I posted that kicked all this off was from the conversation I heard the night before.

A correction courtesy of the host: apparently he didn't intend to rule out the possibility of crosstalk. He tried to use ambiguous wording in my role PM, but only succeeded in making it sound like it was one conversation per night. A simple "you will get one message per night which will be composed of snippets of one or more conversations" apparently was beyond phar's capabilities. In other words, he sucks. :badteeth:

So basically, I've been assuming I've been hearing one conversation each night, when it is possible (though I still do not think it's likely) that I have heard snippets of two different conversations the last 2 nights (was definitely only one conversation on night 1).
 
Is Gory not implying that Sath was Mafia? Is he implying something else (e.g. Sath is a Village Idiot, and he took him out to prevent him winning)? Would someone (preferably Gory) like to let me know what actually happened?
 
@Goryani - You told us that you were given Sathoris' role. You have ignored all requests to give us that information. To me, this makes you look very anti-town. That information has relevance as it pertains to whether I'm a sane cop or some other variation. I need to know what the options are so I can try and work it out if it remains in doubt.

Also, the more you ignore it, the more I am convinced that Sathoris was indeed what he claimed to be and you just don't want to admit that you popped your kill ability on a townie. If that's what you did, just suck it up and come clean. If Sathoris was being straight with us, then that means we have his mason partner still at large and that could be valuable to us. At this point, the more known townies the better.

You are doing a very good job of convincing me (and I am sure others) that you are either a neutral party with your own win condition or even perhaps an anti-town role. If you really are a townie, then kindly start acting like it. First step: tell us how Sathoris flipped.
