Gods of Ancient Greece. Forum mafia game.

I have played 2 games in 2007 and then been absent til 2012. Laarz has been in the 3 games I played since, which are the last 3 games, beginning with the Cheers game in the SPF.

Oops, forgot to reply to this one.

Laarz must have really been lurking in our last game. Not 1 game post has got to be some kind of record!

You read it wrong. I was pointing out that the only way for sure Leo could know Laarz is trustworthy is if Laarz is not on her team. In other words, I was calling Leo scum.

Not entirely correct. There is a town role that gives you talk with your mates, called masons. You usually trust them and back them up unless you are very sure there's a traitor amongst them. That's why I asked if she feels or knows. You, sir, just went on top on my scum list.

I actually want to believe Jcakes. Maybe I'm not looking deep enough (so to speak), but I do know myself and my own reactions. I can post something in a joking manner, and then end up becoming very defensive and explaining myself to a fault when pressured.

don't most people?

Pain in the ***, and no problem* Leo.

Some thoughts above, for what it's worth. On Cakes/Gory, I find it slightly weird that Gory is pushing Cakes the way he is. He probably sees Cakes post in a completely different way than me though, and also I'm pretty sure a thing or three have flown way above my head.

Ankeli has made all of two posts, unless I missed one. Nothing in them to really form an opinion on, and if we exclude his post about his schedule, then it's only 1 post to go off of. So atm he's unknown. No scum points, but no town points either.

BA has made a few more posts, though none really contributing as far as I can tell. Although tbh that doesn't have to mean much. Heck this is the first post of mine I feel like might contribute something, so not holding that against him yet. TL/DR: Unknown.

I did like thefranklin's poke (if you can call it that) quoted above, even though there are things which can explain that Kegs picked up on the number of games conversation going on.

I completely forgot Frankie made any posts. Thanks for the reminder! :D

My thoughts? BA has been a little too quiet. Ank has his usual playstyle. And as for the Gory and Cakes, they both make interesting points. Right now, they are on the same level of suspicion.

Also I was quite impressed with SA's post, granted I read it the correct way. If SA keeps that up, he'll definitely move up fast on my possible town list.

who is SA?

*Wait what? See this is what confuses me so much! I can never figure out just how much or how little info you want. First you thank me, then you say kegs has a point about me being worried about being caught as a lurker? Did you ever get some of that aspirin? I might need some before the evening is over. >.>

*light toss of the bottle of aspirin*

I tend to reply in the order i quote things. It was another nod to your posts about scheduling.

1st line: Laarz made a bunch of posts and disappeared again. I see it as he was around, might as well post. I have no idea how that can be extrapolating to trusting the guy.

Research! It helps! Don't know what some random guy is saying? Google it up to see if it pops up anywhere! 9 times out of 10 it works (unless we are playing with encrypted language that one specific Marahumm made sure it would not pop up on Google and it was a ***** to translate) (I actually wanna say that was in the Futurama game, but I could be mistaken).

2nd + 3rd line: I don't really click on other links or youtube videos, so no. I think it is ridiculous if you think Ankeli was trying to leave some kind of hint with song translated to Latin and loosely applied to the Greek mythology background.

I think it is ridiculous that you (and whoever else waved Zokar's Wild Theory Numero Uno) are dismissing it so. It's information. It doesn't mean it is correct, but it is something for us to chew on. Now Ankeli may be a connoisseur of Finnish black metal, however why that specific one? Maybe because it rocks or maybe he's implying something?

And to add to this, again, i have seen people subtly hint at shtuff. Sometimes you got something, sometimes you don't. I just feel that things out of the ordinary or things people post, phrases, certain words should be looked at and analyzed.

4th line: Nit-picking here, but it was more like: Before Genesis started, "Let there be Noodle"...

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to that sort of thing. i like yours better! ^^

5th line: Here is where it gets interesting. Pointing out Kegs point would offend Korial how now? Isn't that what we are supposed to be doing here? I see your huge post as not saying a whole lot either other than "trust Laarz".

No, I personally did not want to offend Korial with another reminder that his posts are nothing but about his day. I already said something once. Twice might be too much and sometimes that gets under people's skin.

Apprarently the only time I can post is when i'm here, I tried posting when I wasn't here, did anyone see it?

I guess she see's something in me that you dont that engender's her trust.

Engender again? hmm... :scratchchin:

First you know and now you feel? That seems wrong to me. Either you know or you feel. Which is it?

why not both? ^^

ahhh, I didn't think of that.

However, that makes you just as guilty as CG, because you're essentially asking if she is a Mason and if you're mafia this is about as useful the information can be this early on. Was Gwaihir a mason? Is that why you thought of this possibility?

Vote: Moar

Also, am I the only person to think that CG's question was a reasonable one? I'll admit it was my first thought on the post. Why would Leo say something like that if she was town and risk revealing such valuable information to the mafia if she was town and had a mason or cop role or something?

@Pyro,
Something made me uncomfortable about how you responded to Zokar's wild theory saying "obviously this is true".
When I jokingly said I killed Gwaihir I also said "obviously. . ."
Makes me feel like you're trying to blend in.

First of all, I guarantee that CG knows about the possibility of masons.

You accuse CG of role fishing and then proceed to do the exact same thing. You ask whether or not she feels or knows. Why on earth would you want mason's outing themselves on D1?

Moar was fishing for roles? hmm... While you do make an excellent point with Cal, you just went right to the top of my scum list. ^_^

No. I was pointing out why CG was scum. We all know there could be masons and they would back each other up. He just left out that possibility in his post. That is scum tell.

No, speculating about town PRs is a scum tell.

Where am I asking if she or Laarz are masons? I just pointed out that she doesn't have to be scum. CG's statement was flawed because of the masons possible in game. That's what I pointed out. Not who is or is not a mason.

This post which came before your vote of CG

Didn't you react to her statement that she knows to trust Laarz and then felt to trust him? I certainly did. I can think positive or negative about folks here, but I wouldn't say I know to trust them unless I'm really sure. So a moderated "I feel" statement after an "I know" makes me suspicious and I ask a question or two. She hasn't answered either, yet.

I didn't notice the difference, actually. I just read it as "we should trust laarz", but I can see your point.
As I said, though, I thought her statement was bizarre in general.
I guess we're waiting for her answer, then.
