He didn't go through with it. I picked him as bff and talked to him, which was very informative, but before I get into that I need some coffee and breakfast

My best guess is (if his bus riders are true) you were the target of last nights kill and Gwaihir simply put you on the bus in the order listed.

I was Dr. Frankenstien yesterday. What I did, was switch Sathoris and Pyrotechnician. I decided to attempt to use the role as a lie detector, if the roles were switched and reflector came back in the game, then Sath lied about the switch. The role doesn't tell you if it failed/on cool down/worked, so it's not conclusive yet.

The cooties list shows people who were targetted. Just because your attempted action would fail doesn't matter, Sath still should have shown up as targetted.

No? A one night cool down means that if it's used one night then the next night it can't be used. My action didn't 'fail' it was on cooldown - ie, cannot be used.

I was the spammer yesterday.

To reference a previous game "what What WHAT?" I did not see that coming. Will think about this.

Mafia didn't target the spammer.

This was an interesting situation and in my opinion, was enforced by the night actions. I feel some good information turned up. Mafia wouldn't target the spammer, NK immune - it doesn't make sense. Why would they target someone who had the most posts, unless they knew that I wasn't the spammer. Now, from their POV, I would guess that bc town thought I was the spammer and immune, then I would be used to protect a NK in the bus-driver.

From this situation, it seems, to me, that thefranklin is most definitely scum.

This does make some sense, with the second possibility being they figured the bus driver would move the spammer.

I noticed you changed stories to say you targeted Sath and BA. Can you explain why you would choose those roles if it did work?

And Gwahir, how do you know that the redirected kill was a "failure"?

As the driver I tried to:

1) Protect CG, as I thought he was town, by moving who I thought was the spammer to him.
2) Make sure that if CG handed out the day skip, it did not fall into mafia hand because of the switch. He could not hand it to himself, so moving him to flubb is fine (I also found it unlikely that he would target flubb). And if he targeted ML, CG would get it back instead.

So in the end, while I do not know if it was a failure for the game, I failed in part of my purpose of the switch (part 1).

Can't say I follow this at all. You confirmed my targets, so you know I am not lying there. How does that make me scum? Who else should have gotten cooties if I was town?

Have you looked at my total game? The dubious notion Gwaihir makes of me being alive obviously makes me scummy should warrant some consideration.

Nope. Did you read my argument? To me it seemed like that mafia would gain the most by killing you, and yet they did not. That surprises me.

I'm at work and having a spot of coffee and thoroughly surprised at the lack of discussion. I'm not surprised at Gwaihir's OMGUS vote, but more on that shortly.

Rereading my PM, it shows the word NEW before the cooties infection. I'm going with this meaning these three have not been targeted yet this game, which leaves me with the possibility of the NK operative being able to move covertly since he/she is already infected with cooties. Any thoughts from anyone??

And Gwaihir, your only sound point toward me has been I'm still alive. But you are still alive as well so your point is hollow. I have stated things clearly and be quite transparent. Your vote on me doesn't help your townie-ness. Surely you can't see me as a key player the mafia would want to eliminate early.....:rolf:

Because if you get a critical role such as Dr. Frankenstein and you don't realize it's on cooldown, are you even reading the thread/role or are you just focused on the next night kill??

The idea was to pick a role that would have the least 'damage' if it were back. I had two options. Do nothing, or see if Sath was lying. I felt like Sath didn't lie, but either way, in my mind, the reflector would have been the least damaging. Plan did prevail though, Sath didn't lie.

That's what I didn't get. The cootie results show that there were three targets. 3 bus targets and 1 death, from one of them. No one else claimed to have targeted anyone else, so the results match the statements...

It seems here you were not aware of the cooldown at all. You attempted to use it as a lie detector. You were awaiting/expecting results.

It's also quite possible the mafia intented for a no NK scenario and wanted to occupy the town all day discussion why there were cooties on Martin. Convoluted, but possible.

That's a scary thought, that would mean the cootie detector is now useless. However, this could explain something else.

Here's the kicker, CG didn't intend on giving out the no day card, but was more interested in people's reaction to it. He suspected Flubb and Kestegs for not having a reaction at all and Moar and Martin for being supportive. Naturally I passed with flying colours :smug:, and he also trusted Franklin.

He also felt that Malev was scum and again with Moar being named as potential scum I will once again implore people to lynch Moar first and then look for her partner. Flubb was also named by CG and his vote on Gwaihir seems way off, especially as his cootie detector just confirmed Gwaihir's targets. But here is where it gets complicated.

CG said he gave out the high priestess card to thefranklin. He used the past tense twice, so I'm sure he PM'ed Goryani with his card choice. Franklin made no post saying he got the card and no one else came forward. Franklin also wasnt on the cootie detector. Which might give some credence to Flubb's idea of new cooties only showing up, which then means Gwaihir could be lying about his bus driver targets.

As I, and CG, trusted Franklin I'm willing to believe he would have come forward with the card had he recieved it. If only for townie points when everyone thought a no day card would have been given out. Since Moar confirmed Flubb's cootie list there's no questioning that. Personally I'm willing to name Gwaihir as the last scum.

My thoughts regarding Caluin Graye using the card as an indicator for scumminess are simple on my part. I didn’t comment because I really didn’t understand what he was attempting to do. For me to have commented would have opened me up to look even stupider than I already do on a regular basis.

However, since I am not sure I will be able to get back on and change my vote before days end, due to internet demons, I’m willing to make a change here and now if it will secure a lynch. Hopefully I will be able to log back in later. I’m leaving work in about 15 minutes so I’ll do what I can now

That's a scary thought, that would mean the cootie detector is now useless. However, this could explain something else.

In short: you are given a list of players who were targeted by someone, anyone, that night. You're not told who did the targeting nor what roles targeted each victim.

Sounds obvious how the role works to me.

If thefranklin has the card, then the cootie list is a lie, so both flubb and Moar are scum.
Other explanation, is that the card was already given out (before thefranklin did on N3)
