My problem right now is that I have guests tomorrow and will not be able to be online from 10 am to 2am and I might also go to bed right after the guests leave which would add 8 hours of offline time. So should i say now who I blocked? Is that really the only way to stop a NK?

I won't say who I sent it to, although since they can and likely will use it today it probably won't matter.

I was going to say you shouldnt have told what card you gave out, cause that was half the fun of the role! but, I dont see any anti-town reasons for this behavior..

Everyone else: I wouldn't say more about your roles other than what role you had before Moar responds to this question. That way we can determine if the role was blocked. I am very skeptical at this moment because of the false vote, the companionship with Mal, and the fact that Moar could be saying that she(?) is the role blocker, when in fact she could have just not sent in a kill trying to gain town cred. Knowing the fire was hot on her(? I dont remember stuff well), it would be an interesting strategy, but we need to try and determine how likely this could be....

That is a great point. She still could have wasted a block on a townie to try and prevent a powerful role from being used. I hope she didn't block kegs, because that potentially screwed the town out of a good card and covered kegs if he is lying his arse off.

I claimed politician yesterday and kestegs was very unhappy on being made voting somebody. So that should be enough confirmation on that I had that role. The politician has a roleblock at night which I used.

This can be confirmed easily if Solar has the same role today. I don't think it's wise to reveal exactly what role he has, but just a confirm/deny if he is still currently Meet Joe Black.

Bedtime is aproaching and I don't think it's correct for me going offline without telling who I blocked, why I did it and vote for him. Reason for that is that I am likely not back before 6 hours before the end of the day. I'll read tonights post tomorrow morning, but won't have time to answer with quotes and stuff.

So I have two working theories:

1. Sathoris and kestegs are mafia. I used the politician day ability on kestegs. This was recieved badly and commented a anti-town move. I still don't understand why. If it is my believe that both of them are mafia, then I take an anti-town vote out of the pool. I operate with the believe that I am correct. It might be wrong, but I follow it until proven wrong.

2. I am wrong and Sathoris/kestegs are not mafia. Then Ankeli is mafia me thinks. So I used the politician night ability on him. I roleblocked Ankeli. I did this because of his posts (I don't have a quote handy right now). I know I can be wrong about Sathoris/kestegs (I did get the dcop lynched in the SPF game, so I know that I can be a little bit overazealous.) and I might be wrong about Ankeli as well, but right now it seems that I might have blocked the NK.

There's really no way to confirm or deny that. Maybe ankeli can confirm he was blocked, depends on his role.

So it looks like either ankeli was the killer, SI got targeted, or there was no kill sent in. I doubt mafia wouldn't send a kill in though. Unless I'm missing something.

Might also be that Ankeli tried the distancing from Sathoris/kestegs and they are a team. Last message from kestegs leads me to thinking that that might be the case. Why would SI being targeted avoid a NK?

Hard to say. And I see no real way to confirm whether he is or not. Well there is a way by us all claiming our current roles, but I don't think that's worth it by any stretch.

Lots of posts, I will put out my claim before I get to them.

I was Dr. Frank yesterday, I asked several questions about the role and got these answers:

Removing Last laugh from Mal while he is dead causes him to be out of the game
Removing Last laugh from Mal while he is dead will not cause his alignment to be revealed
The role from the live character is "stored" in Mal, and can be switched back in if Mal is targeted at a later date
It is possible to bring back the reflector with this power (reflector does not trigger when dead)

I targeted Moar and Mal. Assuming Moar was not driven, we should have the politician out of the game.


In other news, I received the Sun last night, and see no reason why I should not use it today. I will wait about 24 hours in case people feel otherwise, but at that point I will submit the order to remove the night phase.
