Why do you vote for Malevolent then?
I voted for kestegs because of his reaction to his forced role. Both Sathoris and kestegs are on my top 2 list. Sath pretty much claimed spammer earlier and was top poster before Mal went on a spree. I'd vote Sath before kestegs if it's very close to day end and he doesn't have highest post count by about 10.

The when was answered somewhere already. The time frame was longer since it was a 72 hours day. I wouldn't have used the ability if not prompted to since I thought I had to choose between day or night action. So I made my decision on who I felt at that point. I explained that I suspected kestegs being teamed with Sathoris who was my number one suspect at that time because of his rejection of the idea of role claims.

This was directly after her first quote I quoted earlier, and highlighted a bit about the part where she was calling out Mal for not following rules. To me it came across as scum trying to get a modkill on town. If you read this far. now read the bolded part. Now read the unbolded part. Since no one did that, the unbolded part can seem like mafia whining about their numbers being leaked. But I like to see things my way, so no big deal.

And now for the bolded part, I could be wrong but the game started 48 hours ago? And what power did the politician use just a few hours ago? The one that stated before 24 hours have expired in the day phase? What, a rule? Comment Moar?

That's just how I am and play games. Not fishing for a modkill. I think modkills harm the game in so many ways that I want to flogg any adult who does get himself modkilled.

I have explained what I think and why I did what I did. My vote is currently on kestegs. I'd vote Sath, but think it's not possible to get him lynched because of the spammer role.

Overconfidence like that is not going to do anyone any good at this stage of the game. On Day 1. Yes, he could well be Scum though remember how confident you were about MartinLong in Cheers?

That's who I am and how I am. I have two choices. I can either go with being aggressive or passive. Agressive means that I might once again lynch a cop (not this game, there is no cop, but you get the point). Passive means lurking and never have a clear opinion. I like the agressive stance more. Nobody knows anything for sure right now. I don't have to worry about any buddies either, so I go with my gut feeling, thank you very much.

Unlike my supposed "troll", as you put it, my posts have relevant content. Malevolent's do not. That was my point. And who the hell knows what Malevolent's real intentions are regarding the Spam? If he is Mafia, perhaps it is a good way to ensure that the Spammer gets lynched?




If the current Kingmaker is Town, yes it absolutely is a mislynch. How can you not see that? We will be down a Town player and the Mafia are closer to victory. Was it not you who said that if the Kingmaker over-rides the Majority, he/she is Scum unless they know more than the rest do not? The King is not forced to switch lynches. He is only forced to have the power to do so. As Town, it would make far more sense to just not use the role.

Then what about the Frankensten role? Mis-lynch the Kingmaker, have at some point a Mafioso Dr. Frankenstein bring it right back. Mafia 1 Town 0. Did you really not consider this scenario as you stated, or did you just state that as an excuse, once Moar pointed it out to you?

Your suggestion makes perfect sense from the Mafia perspective - Generate a possible mislynch getting the Scum one step closer to victiory.

That was me. Day powers were extended an entire. No problem with that now, thanks for pointing that out Mal. It was in the opening day post.

How often have we seen it work well for the town when people start saying "I don't care, I just want so-and-so lynched?" And Moar, the use of your power on D1 is not something I would think of as town friendly. Unless your intuition early in the day is correct, you just caused the required number for a lock to increase to 9 people. That is how I think of it (actually, if we do 8 out of 12 that is 75%). And we have some trains developing, so lets hope it doesn't hamstring us.

I do not believe in not using the powers one has. The mafia will use their powers, so why should town not? The king being the exception there of course. My gut feeling at that time was that Sathoris and kestegs were mafia. So I was thinking that I bribe one scum to vote for the other scum and see the reaction. What I did wrong was that I did it the wrong way round. I should have bribed Sathoris to vote for kestegs. Didn't fully understand the spammer role and that he would be unlynchable if active at the end of the day.

By your logic, S I, if there was a mafia who could resurrect one of their own lynching a mafioso would be useless because he could be just brought back up. If a mafia would bring the role back the daily reveals would speak of it sooner than later.

My vote stays untillthe rest of the day because Sath is probably going to spam his way to safety and I don't want to lynch Mal.

I nearly quoted you some times before, but you always slipped away. That makes me feel uneasy. I think there's something odd with you and you might very well be scum if kestegs/Sathoris are not. Maybe together with Mal?

I agree Gwahir, but what if a Moar is playing Mal and depending on him reciprocating, and then he flips town? I ask this solely because I find Moar a bit more scummy than Mal. And I want my intuition to finally be correct for once.

Oh and it's obvious I have the spammer role and I don't intend on getting killed of on N1 again. That's also what the role was made for, no other point to it for a townie. And if you really want to lynch me, I stand no chance against Kestegs in a spam battle..

Lots happened while on my bathroom break and wine seraching quest since I posted. I haven't had time to see more in what Sath wrote but I do have the distinct memory that he was very much against wasting time on claimed roles since it would take half a day of discussion. So you never were against claiming?

This was posted seven minutes before the bribe. This reply is to a post Sathoris made right after admitted to being the spammer. Moar only had to scroll a tiny bit to see Sathoris role claiming.

My point? Moar knew that Sathoris was the spammer when she forced kestegs to vote for him.

I think Sathoris is scum (see recent posts) but I will not vote for him yet since he pretty much admitted to being the spammer and the postcount at lynch is the one logged. So I will wait to when he is overtaken. His post count is 20 now, followed by kestegs with 16 and flubb with 15. Any of you two can (and want to) challenge him?

At 14:37 Moar challenges kestegs and flubbs to counter-spam him. Note that she hasn't yet put her vote down on Sathoris, while forcing someone else to do so. At this point, she still has the thought that out-spamming the spammer can work and Sathoris can be lynched.

I don't defend the vote on Mal, just the reason for it. Mal is always scummy and I said that before. But I really don't see any reasoning behind Saths vote and right now Sath is my #1 for scum, please see earlier reasoning).

At 15:05, she reinforces that Sath is scum. Still, however, no vote.

Well, I thought it was possible to get the spammer lynched if we are careful with when to have the most posts. I asked questions and apparently i was wrong. So I don't think a spam war is an option. The spammer can always win.

I want Sathoris lynched, see earlier comments. He has pretty much admitted the spammer so there is not a chance to lynch him unfortunately I think.

And at 15:37, less than an hour of asking kestegs and franklin to outspam Sath, she has given up on the idea. Neither kestegs or franklin have even posted yet, let alone attempted to catch up in post count. She has systematically set up an idea for getting a troublesome role lynched, asked others to do the grunt work, and then shot down the idea, all within an hour's time. Meanwhile...

This is precisely correct. Forcing someone else to vote is rarely a town move, especially as early on in the game as we are. Vote patterns are just one of many clues to help identify scum, and by forcing kestegs to vote for someone with lynch immunity, you've effectively cost the town one vote and removed any clues we might have garnered from his vote patterns.

That is not a town action.

Mal is at lynch right as of me typing this. I could lock him to avoid anybody switching to me. I won't do that though. I explained multiple times why i did what I did. I also said that i did it the wrong way around and should have had Sathoris vote for kestegs. If you don't believe me then go ahead and lynch me.
